commencing at its junction with the Pukekohe-Glen Murray
Main Highway at a point opposite the southern end of the
Waikato River Bridge at Tuakau, and proceeding generally
in a south-westerly direction through Blocks VIII, VII,
and XI, Onewhero Survey District, and terminating at its
junction with the road forming the northern boundary of
Section 14, Block XI, Onewhero Survey District, being a
distance of 6 miles, more or less. Shown on plan P.W.D.
71603, and thereon coloured blue.
Kauroa - Te Mata.
All that road or portion of road in the Raglan County,
commencing at its junction with the Hamilton-Raglan Main
Highway at a point on the northern boundary of Section 50,
Block VI, Karioi Survey District, and proceeding generally
in a south-westerly direction via Kauroa Road through
Blocks VI, V, and IX, Karioi Survey District, and terminating
at a point opposite the Te Mata Post-office, being a
distance of 4 miles 60 chains, more or less. Shown on plan

HIGHWAY DISTRICT No. 3.
Te Puna Point - Omokoroa.
All that road or portion of road in the Tauranga County,
commencing at its junction with the Tauranga-Waihi Main
Highway at a point on the north-western boundary of Sec-
tion 43, Block VIII, Tauranga Survey District, and proceeding
generally in a northerly direction, and terminating at
Omokoroa at the south-western corner of Section 50, Block IV,
Tauranga Survey District, being a distance of 6 miles, more
or less. Shown on plan P.W.D. 71495, and thereon coloured
blue.
Papamoa - Mount Maunganui.
All that road or portion of road in the Tauranga County,
commencing at its junction with the Tauranga-Waihi Main
Highway at the south-western corner of Section 1, Block III,
Tumu Survey District, and proceeding generally in a north-
westerly direction, and terminating at its junction with
Wharf Road at Moturiki Township, being a distance of 8 miles
60 chains, more or less. Shown on plans P.W.D. 71496 and
71495, and thereon coloured blue.
Rotoma-Matata Road.
All that road or portion of road in the Rotorua and Whaka-
tane Counties, commencing at its junction with the Whaka-
tane-Rotorua Main Highway at the western boundary of
scenic reserve, Block 10, Rotoma Survey District, and pro-
ceeding generally in a north-easterly direction via Pikowai
South Road and Whakahauapapa Road, and terminating at
its junction with the Whakatane-Tauranga Main Highway
near Matata, near the northern corner of Section 3A, Block VI,
Awa-o-te-Atua Survey District, being a distance of 22 miles,
more or less. Shown on plans P.W.D. 71499 and 71497,
and thereon coloured blue.
Wainui Road.
All that road or portion of road in the Whakatane and
Opotiki Counties, commencing at its junction with the Gis-
bome-Whakatane (via Motu) Main Highway at the south-
eastern corner of Section 12, Block II, Whakatane Survey
District, and proceeding generally in a south-easterly direc-
tion, and terminating at its junction with the said Gisborne-
Whakatane (via Motu) Main Highway at a point on the
eastern boundary of Section 183, Block XI, Whakatane Sur-
vey District, being a distance of 18 miles, more or less.

Puha-Mangatu-Whatatutu.
All that road or portion of road in the Waikohu County,
commencing at its junction with the Gisborne-Opotiki (via
Motu) Main Highway at Puha at a point on the northern
boundary of Section 18, Block IV, Waikohu Survey District,
and proceeding generally in a northerly direction, and termi-
nating at its junction with the Mangatu Road in Section 3,
Block XII, Mangatu Survey District, being a distance of
7 miles 48 chains, more or less. Shown on plan P.W.D. 71569,
and thereon coloured red.
HIGHWAY DISTRICT No. 5.
Waipukurau-Matamau, via Hatuma, Takapau, and Ormond-
ville.
All that road or portion of road in the Waipukurau, Wai-
pawa, and Dannevirkc Counties, commencing at its junction
with the Napier-Wellington Main Highway (via Wairarapa)
near Waipukurau at the north-western corner of Section 2,
Block 14, Waipukurau Survey District, and proceeding
generally in a south-westerly direction via Hatuma, Mara-
keke Settlement, Takapau, Kopua, Ormondville, and Mako-
tuku, but excluding that portion common to the Norsewood-
Whetukura Main Highway, and terminating at its junction
with the Napier-Wellington Main Highway (via Wairarapa)
at Matamau at a point near the south-eastern corner of
Section 6, Block X, Norsewood Survey District, being a
distance of 31 miles 24 chains, more or less. Shown on plans

Omakere-Pourerere.
All that road or portion of road in the Patangata County,
commencing at the termination of the Waipawa-Omakere
Main Highway at Omakere, and proceeding generally in
a south-easterly direction via the Waipawa-Pourerere
Road, and terminating at the sea-beach at Pourerere at the
north-eastern corner of Lot 3, D.P. 3762, being a distance of
9 miles 20 chains, more or less. Shown on plan P.W.D.

Mangateretere - Havelock North.
All that road or portion of road in the Hawke's Bay County
and the Havelock North Town District, commencing at its
junction with the Farndon-Hastings Main Highway at Manga-
teretere, and proceeding generally in a southerly direction,
and terminating at its junction with the Napier-Tukituki
Main Highway (via Omahu and Havelock), in the Havelock
North Town District, being a distance of 3 miles 45 chains,
more or less. Shown on plan marked P.W.D. 71606, and

Hastings-Pakipaki.
All that road or portion of road in the Hawke's Bay
County, commencing at the south-western boundary of the
Borough of Hastings at the intersection of Murdoch Road and
Railway Road, and proceeding generally in a south-westerly
direction via Railway Road, and terminating at its junction
with the Napier-Wellington Main Highway (via Wairarapa) at
Pakipaki, being a distance of 3 miles 45 chains, more or less.

Tukituki-Waimarama.
All that road or portion of road in the Hawke's Bay
County, commencing at its junction with the Tukituki-Els-
thorpe Main Highway near the Tukituki River Bridge, and

Havelock-Waimarama Road, and terminating at the beach
at Waimarama near the north-eastern corner of Section 3A 5,
Block 10, Kidnapper Survey District, being a distance of

Mangateretere - Te Awhanga.
All that road or portion of road in the Hawke's Bay
County, commencing at its junction with the Farndon-
Hastings Main Highway near Mangateretere at a point on
the western boundary of Section 11, Block 2, Clive Survey
District, and proceeding generally in a south-easterly direc-
tion, and terminating at the beach at Te Awhanga near the
north-western corner of Section 2A, Block 2, Kidnapper
Survey District, being a distance of 7 miles 40 chains, more

Petane-Eskdale.
All that road or portion of road in the Hawke's Bay
County, commencing at its junction with the Napier-Gisborne
Main Highway (via Wairoa) at Petane, and proceeding gene-
rally in a north-westerly direction, and terminating at its
junction with the Petane-Taupo Main Highway near Eskdale
at the north-western corner of Section 3, Block XII, Puke-
tapu Survey District, being a distance of 2 miles 20 chains,

Mokauiti-Takiri.
All that road or portion of road in the Waitomo County,
commencing at its junction with the Te Kuiti-Bulls (via
Taumarunui) Main Highway at the north-eastern corner of
Section 24, Block I, Tangitu Survey District, and proceeding
generally in a westerly direction via the Takiri and Mokauiti
Roads, and terminating at its junction with the Piopio-Tatu
(via Aria and Ohura) Main Highway at a point on the northern
boundary of Section B 3c 2A, Block X, Totoro Survey Dis-
trict, being a distance of 17 miles, more or less. Shown on
