The South-eastern Side of Portion of Nairn Street, in the City
of Dunedin, exempted from the Provisions of Section 117
of the Public Works Act, 1908, subject to a Condition as
to the Building-line.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 9th day of
June, 1928.

Present:
THE RIGHT HONOURABLE J. G. COATES, P.C., PRESIDING IN
COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the
Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anyway
enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution
passed by the Dunedin City Council on the sixteenth day of
May, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight, the
portion of street affected by such resolution being more
particularly described in the Schedule hereto, viz.:-

"That the Dunedin City Council, being the local authority
having control of the streets in the City of Dunedin, by
resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred
and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, shall not
apply to that portion of street described hereunder, viz.:
the south-eastern side of Nairn Street in the City of Dunedin
where the same abuts on part Lot 11, McKenzie's Sub-
division, as the said portion of street is shown on the plan
attached hereto and thereon coloured brown";

subject to the condition that no building or part of a building
shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the south-
eastern side of the portion of Nairn Street (described in the
Schedule hereto), within a distance of thirty-three feet from
the centre-line of the said portion of street.

SCHEDULE.

THE south-eastern side of all that portion of street situated
in the Otago Land District, City of Dunedin, known as Nairn
Street, fronting part Lot 11, McKenzie's Subdivision, Block
III, Upper Kaikorai District. As the said portion of street
is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D.
72250, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works
at Wellington, and thereon coloured brown and edged red.

The Southern Side of a Portion of Villa Street, in the Borough
of Masterton, exempted from the Provisions of Section 117
of the Public Works Act, 1908, subject to a Condition as to
the Building-line.

day of January, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight,

"That the provisions of section one hundred and seventeen
of the Public Works Act, 1908, shall not apply to the
portion of that street known as 'Villa Street' in the Borough
of Masterton, between Cambridge Terrace and Pine Street";

subject to the condition that no building or part of a building
shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the southern
side of the said portion of Villa Street (described in the Schedule
hereto), within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-
line of the said portion of street.

SCHEDULE.

THE southern side of all that portion of street, situated in the
Wellington Land District, Borough of Masterton, known as

Villa Street, situated between Pine Street and Cambridge
Terrace. As the said portion of street is more particularly
delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 71099, deposited in
the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and
thereon coloured green.

Amending Regulations under the Meat Export Control Act,
1921-22.-Notice No. Ag. 2727.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 21st day of
June, 1928.

Present:
THE HONOURABLE W. NOSWORTHY PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon him by the Meat Export Control Act,
1921-22 (hereinafter referred to as "the said Act"), His
Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby make
the following regulation in amendment of the regulations
made under the said Act by Order in Council dated the
seventh day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-
three, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the same
date at page 1612.

REGULATION.

CLAUSE 6 of the principal regulations is hereby revoked, and
the following clause substituted :-

  1. (1) No candidate for election to the Board shall be
    eligible for nomination as a delegate.

(2) No person shall be eligible for election as a delegate
unless he has been nominated by a sheep-farmer and his
nomination has been seconded by another sheep-farmer, and
he has accepted nomination in writing.

(3) No person may accept nomination as a delegate for
more than one electoral district.

(4) The form of nomination may be in the form No. 1 in
the Schedule hereto.

(5) Nominations shall be received at such time and in such
manner as the Board shall determine.

Notifying Lands in Southland Land District for Sale by Public
Auction for Cash or on Deferred Payments.

IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon
me by section one hundred and thirty-two of the Land
Act, 1924, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint
Wednesday, the twenty-fifth day of July, one thousand nine
hundred and twenty-eight, as the time at which the lands
described in the Schedule hereto shall be sold by public
auction for cash or on deferred payments; and I hereby
fix the prices at which the said lands shall be sold as those
mentioned in the said Schedule hereto.
