CHANGE OF NAME.

NOTICE is hereby given that I, ANTONY JOHNSON, of Manai'a, Taranaki, in the Dominion of New Zealand, Tailor, and lately called “Antony Gospodnetic,” have this day executed a certain deed poll (intended to be enrolled in the Supreme Court of New Zealand) whereby I have renounced the use of the names “Antony Gospodnetic,” and in lieu thereof have assumed and adopted the names of “Antony Johnson.”

PAEROA BOROUGH COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and of all other powers (if any) enabling, the Paeroa Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—

That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Paeroa Borough Improvements to Main Streets Loan of £4,500, 1927, authorized to be raised by the Paeroa Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of improvements to main streets in the Borough of Paeroa, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of thirteen-sixteenths of one penny (13/16d.) in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the whole of the Borough of Paeroa, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of fifteen (15) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

BOROUGH OF WESTPORT.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Westport Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—

That, for the purpose of providing the principal and interest and other charges on a loan of £5,781 12s. 8d., known as the Westport Borough Gasworks Redemption Loan of £5,781 12s. 3d., 1927, authorized to be raised by the Westport Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose (together with accrued sinking funds) of paying off a loan of £9,300, known as the Westport Borough Gasworks Loan, 1906, the said Westport Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one halfpenny (½d.) in the pound sterling upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the Borough of Westport, comprising the whole of the Borough of Westport; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 14th day of November in each and every year, during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-one years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
