ELECTION OF MEMBER.

IT is hereby notified that at the election of a member of the Education Board of the District of Wanganui, to fill the extraordinary vacancy in the Palmerston North Urban Area, caused by the resignation of Mr. D. W. Low, the number of votes recorded for each candidate was as follows: Elliott, George Herbert, 12; Oram, Matthew Henry, 26; the total number of valid votes recorded was 38; the number of votes rejected as informal was nil.

I hereby declare Mr. Matthew Henry Oram elected a member of the Board for the Palmerston North Urban Area.
