Result of Poll for Proposed Loan.

Wellington, 23rd May, 1928.

THE following notice, received from the Mayor, Nelson City Council, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926.

CITY OF NELSON.

IN accordance with section 13 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the City of Nelson, taken on Monday, the 21st day of May, 1928, on a proposal to raise a special loan of £3,000 for the purpose of carrying out work at the Sands Reserve, the result was as follows: Total number of valid votes for the proposal, 618; total number of valid votes against the proposal, 515; majority for the proposal, 103. I therefore declare the proposal to be carried.

Dated this 22nd day of May, 1928.
