Land taken for the Development of Water-power (Arapuni Scheme) in Block XII, Maungatautari Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anyway enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the development of water-power (Arapuni Scheme), and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the nineteenth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken : 2 roods 28 perches.
Being portion of Section 31.
Situated in Block XII, Maungatautari Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 23948.)
In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 68321 (sheet 1), deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured purple.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 5th day of May, 1928.

Land taken for Defence Purposes in the Borough of Upper Hutt.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anyway enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for defence purposes; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the nineteenth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken : 2 acres 2 roods 15Β·5 perches.
Being Lot 2, D.P. 3442, and being part Section 96, Hutt R.D. (Borough of Upper Hutt). (S.O. 2337.)
Situated in Block I, Rimutaka Survey District.
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 71791, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged blue.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 5th day of May, 1928.
