NOTICE OF SPECIAL RESOLUTION.

IN LIQUIDATION.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908; and in the matter of A. B. C. Motors (N.Z.), Limited, a company having its registered office at Lambton Quay, Wellington.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned special resolution was passed on the 3rd day of April, 1928:

“ That the company (A. B. C. Motors (N.Z.), Limited), be wound up voluntarily, and that Messrs. John Leslie Griffin and Percival Cumming Elliott be appointed Liquidators at the remuneration provided in the scale adopted by the Society of Accountants, and that Mr. Elliott be authorized to draw £10 a week as an advance against his share of such remuneration.”

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between Ernest Edmund Smith and James Sharp in the business of Auctioneers and Commission Agents in Russell Street, Hastings, under the style or firm of “Smith and Sharp,” has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the date hereof.

All debts due to and owing by the said late firm will be received and paid respectively by the said James Sharp, who will continue to carry on the said business under his own name.

NOTICE is hereby given of the passing of the under-mentioned resolution by the above company in general meeting on 27th February, 1928:

That the resignation of Mr. H. C. Robinson as Liquidator, as from April 1st next be accepted, and as from that date Mr. N. P. Carless be appointed Liquidator in his stead, and upon the same terms with the addition of power to delegate to Mr. George Johnston authority to operate on the Liquidator’s bank account.

NOTICE OF DISSOLUTION.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between John Hamilton, Robert Hamilton, and Joseph Edward Hamilton, all of Hikurangi, carrying on the business as Butchers and Garage-proprietors at Hikurangi, under the style or firm of “Hamilton Bros.” has been dissolved as from the first day of April, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight, so far as concerns the said Joseph Edward Hamilton, who retires from the said firm. The butchery business will continue to be conducted by the said John Hamilton and Robert Hamilton, under the style or firm of “Hamilton Bros.” and the garage business will be carried on and conducted by the said Joseph Edward Hamilton in his own name.

HAMILTON BOROUGH COUNCIL.

NOTICE UNDER THE PUBLIC WORKS ACT.

In the matter of the Public Works Act, 1908.

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Hamilton Borough Council proposes to execute certain public works—to wit, the extension of Hinemoa Street in the Borough of Hamilton—for which purpose the following lands are required to be taken by Proclamation under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1908, sections 18 and 19, that is to say:

All that piece or parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auckland containing by admeasurement two roods and six-hundredths of a perch (more or less) being portion of the Hamilton West Domain. Bounded towards the north-east by Hinemoa Street, one hundred and four one-hundredths links; towards the east by other part of the said Hamilton West Domain, four hundred and six and forty-seven one-hundredths links; towards the south-east by Liverpool Street, one hundred and one and sixty-eight one-hundredths links; towards the south-west by other part of the said Hamilton West Domain, three hundred and eighty-eight and forty-five one-hundredths links; again towards the south-west by Mill Street, one hundred and five and eighty-one one-hundredths links; and towards the north-west by other part of the said Hamilton West Domain, one hundred and eight and fifty-seven one-hundredths links.

A plan of the lands required to be taken is open for inspection at the office of the Hamilton Borough Council, Tisdall Street, Hamilton.

All persons affected are hereby called upon to set forth in writing any well-founded objection to the execution of such works or to the taking of such lands, and to send such objection in writing to the Hamilton Borough Council within forty days from the date of the first publication of this notice.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908; and in the matter of Renfrew Limited (in liquidation), a private company incorporated thereunder.

NOTICE is hereby given that by entry in the minute-book of the above-named company dated the 13th day of March, 1928, and signed in accordance with the requirements of subsection (6) of section 168 of the above-mentioned Act, it was resolved,

(1) That the resignation of R. H. Dellow from his office of Liquidator of the company as from the 10th day of March, 1928, be accepted.

(2) That the winding-up of the company be placed in the hands of the Official Liquidator at Wellington, and that he be and he is hereby appointed Liquidator of the company for the purpose of continuing and completing such winding-up.
