All that road or portion of road in the Cheviot County, commencing at its junction with the Christchurch—Blenheim, via Parnassus, Main Highway at the Leader River Bridge, and proceeding generally in a north-westerly direction via the right bank of the Leader River, and terminating at its junction with the Mendip — Long Valley Road, being a distance of 3 miles 40 chains, more or less. Shown on plan P.W.D. 71528, and thereon coloured red.

Ethelton—Hurunui.

All that road or portion of road in the Cheviot County, commencing at the Ethelton Railway-station, and proceeding generally in a south-easterly direction, and terminating at its junction with the Christchurch—Blenheim, via Parnassus, Main Highway at the Hurunui River Bridge, being a distance of 1 mile 40 chains, more or less. Shown on plan P.W.D. 71528, and thereon coloured red.

HIGHWAY DISTRICT No. 14.

Hilltop Junction—Long Bay Saddle.

All that road or portion of road in the Akaroa County, commencing at its junction with the Christchurch—Akaroa Main Highway at Hilltop, and proceeding generally in a north-easterly and south-easterly direction, and terminating at its junction with the Long Bay Road, being a distance of 17 miles, more or less. Shown on plan P.W.D. 71550, and thereon coloured red.

Loburn—Whiterock.

All that road or portion of road in the Ashley County, commencing at its junction with the Rangiora—Oxford, via Loburn, Main Highway, and proceeding generally in a north-westerly and northerly direction via Stoney Flat Road, the Grey and Karetu River Bridges, and Quarry Road, and terminating at a point opposite the eastern boundary of Section 32198, Block XII, Mount Thomas Survey District, near Whiterock, being a distance of 7 miles 40 chains, more or less. Shown on plan P.W.D. 71551, and thereon coloured red.

Southbridge — Rakaia Huts.

All that road or portion of road in the Ellesmere County, commencing at its junction with the Sockburn—Southbridge Main Highway at a point opposite the Southbridge Post-office, and proceeding generally in a southerly direction, and terminating at the southern corner of Rural Section 9294, Block IX, Southbridge Survey District, near the Rakaia Huts, being a distance of 5 miles 40 chains, more or less. Shown on plan P.W.D. 71552, and thereon coloured red.

Lake Road — Yankee Crossing.

All that road or portion of road in the Ellesmere County, commencing at its junction with the Sockburn—Southbridge Main Highway at Lake Road, and proceeding generally in a north-westerly direction via Selwyn and Lake Road and Boundary Creek Road, and terminating at its junction with the Christchurch—Dunedin Main Highway near Dunsandel, being a distance of 8 miles 60 chains, more or less. Shown on plan P.W.D. 71552, and thereon coloured red.

Leeston—Rakaia.

All that road or portion of road in the Ellesmere and Selwyn Counties, commencing at its junction with the Sockburn—Southbridge Main Highway near Leeston, and proceeding generally in a south-westerly and north-westerly direction via Teredays Road and Main Rakaia Road, and terminating at its junction with the Christchurch—Dunedin Main Highway near the Rakaia River Bridge, being a distance of 13 miles 40 chains, more or less. Shown on plan P.W.D. 71552, and thereon coloured red.

Kaiapoi — West Eyreton, via Ohoka.

All that road or portion of road in the Eyre County, commencing at the junction of Mill Road and Kaiapoi—Waddington, via Rangiora and Bennetts, Main Highway, and proceeding generally in a north-westerly direction via Mill Road, Ohoka Road, Bradley Road, and Oxford Tram Road, and terminating at its junction with Earlys Road, being a distance of 14 miles, more or less. Shown on plan P.W.D. 71549, and thereon coloured red.

West Eyreton — Cust.

All that road or portion of road in the Eyre and Rangiora Counties, commencing at its junction with the Kaiapoi—Waddington (Junction) to Bennetts, via Swannanoa, Main Highway at West Eyreton, and proceeding generally in a northerly direction via Earlys Road, and terminating at its junction with the Kaiapoi—Waddington, via Rangiora and Bennetts, Main Highway near Cust, being a distance of 3 miles, more or less. Shown on plan P.W.D. 71549, and thereon coloured red.

Christchurch—Halswell.

All that road or portion of road in the Halswell County, commencing at the south-western boundary of the City of Christchurch at the Heathcote River Bridge, and proceeding generally in a south-westerly direction, and terminating at its junction with the Christchurch—Akaroa Main Highway at Halswell Post-office, being a distance of 2 miles 40 chains, more or less. Shown on plan P.W.D. 71549, and thereon coloured red.

Christchurch — New Brighton, via Wainoni Road.

All that road or portion of road in the Heathcote County, commencing at the eastern boundary of the City of Christchurch at Kerr’s Road, and proceeding generally in a north-easterly direction, and terminating at the western boundary of the Borough of New Brighton at Bower Bridge, being a distance of 1 mile 60 chains, more or less. Shown on plan P.W.D. 71549, and thereon coloured red.

Also all that street or portion of street in the New Brighton Borough, commencing at the western boundary of the Borough of New Brighton at Bower Bridge, and proceeding generally in a south-easterly direction via River Road, and terminating at its junction with Seaview Road at the New Brighton Tramway Bridge, being a distance of 60 chains, more or less. Shown on plan P.W.D. 71549, and thereon coloured red.

Christchurch — New Brighton, via Page’s Road.

All that road or portion of road in the Heathcote County, commencing at the eastern boundary of the City of Christchurch, and proceeding generally in a north-easterly direction via Page’s Road, and terminating at the western boundary of the Borough of New Brighton at the New Brighton Tramway Bridge, being a distance of 2 miles, more or less. Shown on plan P.W.D. 71549, and thereon coloured red.

Also all that street or portion of street in the New Brighton Borough, commencing at the western boundary of the Borough of New Brighton at the New Brighton Tramway Bridge, and proceeding generally in a north-easterly direction via Seaview Road, and terminating at the New Brighton Pier, being a distance of 40 chains, more or less. Cashmere—Heathcote, via Hills Road.

All that road or portion of road in the Heathcote County, commencing at its junction with the Dyer’s Pass Road and Colombo Road at Cashmere, and proceeding generally in an easterly direction via Hills Road, and terminating at the Heathcote Railway-station, being a distance of 5 miles, more or less. Shown on plan P.W.D. 71549, and thereon coloured red.

Ashley—Balcairn, via Marshmans.

All that road or portion of road in the Kowai County, commencing at its junction with the Rangiora—Oxford, via Loburn, Main Highway at Ashley, and proceeding generally in a north-easterly direction via Marshman’s Road and Duff’s Road, and terminating at its junction with the Ashley—Amberley Main Highway at Balcairn, being a distance of 8 miles, more or less. Shown on plan P.W.D. 71553, and thereon coloured red.

Sefton — Saltwater Creek.

All that road or portion of road in the Kowai County, commencing at its junction with the Ashley—Amberley Main Highway at Sefton, and proceeding generally in a southerly and easterly direction via Sefton and Wyllie’s Roads, and terminating at the junction of the said Wyllie’s Road with the Christchurch—Blenheim Main Highway, being a distance of 2 miles 60 chains, more or less. Yaldhurst—Sheffield.

All that road or portion of road in the Paparua and Malvern Counties, commencing at its junction with the Upper Riccarton — Arthur’s Pass Main Highway near Yaldhurst, and proceeding generally in a north-westerly direction via Lower Waimakariri and West Coast Roads, and terminating at its junction with the Upper Riccarton — Arthur’s Pass Main Highway at Sheffield, being a distance of 20 miles 40 chains, more or less. Coalgate—Hororata.

All that road or portion of road in the Malvern and Selwyn Counties, commencing at its junction with the Darfield—Arundel, via Upper Rakaia Gorge Bridge, Main Highway at Coalgate, and proceeding generally in a southerly direction, to its junction with the Hororata and Hawken Roads, and thence in a south-easterly direction via Haldon Road, and terminating at its junction with the Aylesbury — Lake Coleridge Road near Hororata, being a distance of 5 miles
