Wairoa, via Hangaroa, Main Highway in Section 235, Block I, Turanganui Survey District, and proceeding generally in a north-westerly direction via Patutahi and Ngatapa, and terminating at Rere, in Subsection I, Block XII, Ngatapa Survey District, being a distance of 23 miles, more or less. Shown on plan P.W.D. 71568, and thereon coloured red..

Matawai – Koranga Bridge.

All that road or portion of road in the Waikohu County, commencing at its junction with the Gisborne–Opotiki, via Motu, Main Highway at Matawai, and proceeding generally in a south-westerly direction via Motu Valley Road, and terminating at the Koranga River Bridge, opposite the southern corner of Section 2, Block 1, Ngatapa Survey District, being a distance of 12 miles, more or less. Shown on plan P.W.D. 71569, and thereon coloured red.

Tolaga–Tauwhareparae.

All that road or portion of road in the Uawa County, commencing at its junction with the Gisborne–Opotiki, via the Coast, Main Highway, near Tolaga River Bridge, and proceeding generally in a westerly and northerly direction via Wigan, and terminating at the eastern boundary of Section 5, Small Grazing-run 87, Block V, Uawa Survey District, being a distance of 11 miles 40 chains, more or less. Shown on plan P.W.D. 71570, and thereon coloured red.

Te Puia – Waipiro.

All that road or portion of road in the Waiapu County, commencing at its junction with the Gisborne–Opotiki, via the Coast, Main Highway in the Te Puia Township, and proceeding generally in a north-easterly direction, and terminating at its junction with Kohatunui Street in Waipiro Bay Township, being a distance of 4 miles, more or less. Shown on plan P.W.D. 71571, and thereon coloured red.

Taurangakautuku Road.

All that road or portion of road in the Matakaea County, commencing at its junction with the Gisborne–Opotiki, via the Coast, Main Highway and proceeding in a south-westerly direction, and terminating in Section 5A 2, Block III, Mangaoporo Survey District, being a distance of 5 miles 64 chains, more or less. Shown on plan P.W.D. 71572, and thereon coloured red.

Rotokautuku Bridge to Waiomatatini.

All that road or portion of road in the Waiapu County, commencing at its junction with the Gisborne–Opotiki, via the Coast, Main Highway near Rotokautuku Bridge, and proceeding generally in a north-easterly direction via Ruatoria, along the right bank of the Waiapu River, and terminating at its junction with Port Awanui Road, being a distance of 10 miles 64 chains, more or less. Shown on plan P.W.D. 71571, and thereon coloured red.

HIGHWAY DISTRICT No. 5.
Frasertown – Lake House.

All that road or portion of road in the Wairoa County, commencing at its junction with the Wairoa–Gisborne Main Highway, via Hangaroa, at Frasertown, and proceeding generally in a north-westerly direction via the Waikaretaheke Valley, and terminating at Waikaremoana Lake House, being a distance of 35 miles, more or less. Shown on plan P.W.D. 71605, and thereon coloured red.

Ruakituri Valley.

All that road or portion of road in the Wairoa County, commencing at its junction with the Wairoa–Gisborne Main Highway, via Hangaroa, at Te Reinga Falls and proceeding generally in a north-westerly direction, via the Ruakituri Valley, and terminating at its junction with the Erepeti Road, being a distance of 14 miles, more or less. Shown on plan P.W.D. 71605, and thereon coloured red.

Tukituki–Elsthorpe.

All that road or portion of road in the Hawke’s Bay and Patangata Counties, commencing at the junction of the Omahu–Tukituki River Bridge Main Highway (via Hastings and Havelock North), at the Tukituki River Bridge, and proceeding generally in a southerly direction, via Kahuranaki and Hawea Roads, and terminating at its junction with the Otane–Elsthorpe Main Highway at Elsthorpe, being a distance of 21 miles, more or less. Shown on plans P.W.D. 71606 and 71607, and thereon coloured red.

Fernhill–Takapau, via Maraekakaho and Tikokino.

All that road or portion of road in the Hawke’s Bay and Waipawa Counties, commencing at its junction with the Omahu–Tukituki River Bridge Main Highway (via Hastings and Havelock), near Fernhill, and proceeding generally in a south-westerly direction, via Maraekakaho–Napier Road, Gwavas Road, Tikokino, the Ongaonga–Hampden Road, and Tukituki Road, but excluding those portions common with the Hastings–Maraekakaho Main Highway, and Waipawa–Tikokino Main Highway, and terminating at its junction with the Napier–Wellington Main Highway (via Wairarapa), west of Takapau, being a distance of 42 miles, more or less. Shown on plans P.W.D. 71606 and 71608, and thereon coloured red.

Waipawa–Omakere.

All that road or portion of road in the Waipawa and Patangata Counties, commencing at the eastern boundary of the Borough of Waipawa, and proceeding generally in a south-easterly direction via the Tamumu–Pourere Road, and terminating at Omakere, being a distance of 12 miles 40 chains, more or less. Shown on plans P.W.D. 71608 and 71607, and thereon coloured red.

Also all that street or portion of street in the Waipawa Borough, commencing at the junction with the Great North Road and Tamumu Road, and proceeding generally in a south-easterly direction, via the said Tamumu Road and Waipawa–Tamumu Road, and terminating at the eastern boundary of the Borough of Waipawa, being a distance of 2 miles, more or less. Shown on plan P.W.D. 71181, and thereon coloured red.

Woodville–Tamaki.

All that road or portion of road in the Woodville and Dannevirke Counties, commencing at its junction with the Napier–Wellington Main Highway (via Wairarapa), at the eastern boundary of the Borough of Woodville, and proceeding generally in a north-easterly direction via Pinfold Road, Elliot Road, Valley Road, Price Road, Top Grass Road, Otamaraho Road, and Rokai Road, to Ruaroa, thence generally in a south-easterly direction via Laws Road, and terminating at its junction with the Napier–Wellington Main Highway (via Wairarapa), near Tamaki Railway Siding, being a distance of 21 miles 40 chains more or less. Shown on plans P.W.D. 71610 and 71609, and thereon coloured red.

Ongaha – Mangatoro Valley.

All that road or portion of road in the Dannevirke County, commencing at its junction with the Dannevirke–Waipukurau Main Highway (via Porangahau), opposite the north-western corner of Section 1A 2H, of Mangatoro No. 1A, Block VIII, Tahoraite Survey District, and proceeding generally in a southerly direction via the Ongaha and Mangatoro Valley Roads, and terminating opposite the south-eastern corner of Section 2, Block XVI, Tahoraite Survey District, being a distance of 10 miles, more or less. Shown on plan P.W.D. 71609, and thereon coloured red.

Woodville–Hopelands.

All that road or portion of road in the Woodville County, commencing at its junction with the Napier–Wellington Main Highway (via Wairarapa), opposite the south-western corner of Section 54, Block 7, Woodville Survey District, and proceeding generally in a south-easterly direction via Hardings Road and River Road, and terminating at the Hopeland’s Dairy Factory, being a distance of 4 miles 20 chains, more or less. Shown on plan P.W.D. 71610, and thereon coloured red.

HIGHWAYS DISTRICT No. 6.
Te Maire – Mangaohutu.

All that road or portion of road in the Kaitieke County, commencing at its junction with the Stratford–Taumarunui Main Highway near Te Maire Bridge, and proceeding generally in a south-westerly direction via the Wanganui Valley Road (left bank of Wanganui River), and terminating at its junction with the Mangaohutu Road, being a distance of 19 miles 28 chains, more or less. Shown on plan P.W.D. 71542, and thereon coloured red.

Taringamotu Valley Road.

All that road or portion of road in the Taumarunui County, commencing at its junction with the Te Kuiti–Bull’s, via Taumarunui, Main Highway opposite the western corner of Section 16, Block XIII, Tuhua Survey District, and proceeding generally in an easterly direction via the Taringamotu River Valley, and terminating at a point opposite the eastern boundary of Section 6039, Block XV, Tuhua Survey District, being a distance of 10 miles, more or less, shown on plan P.W.D. 71543, and thereon coloured red.

Te Kumi – Te Anga.
