DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

TAKE notice that the Partnership hitherto existing between ERIC BEAUMONT JACKSON and FREDERICK GEORGE TWISS, and carried on at Nelson under the style of "Jackson and Twiss," Sharebrokers and Insurance Agents, has been dissolved as from the 31st day of December, 1927. As from that date the said Eric Beaumont Jackson will carry on the business of Insurance and General Commission Agent, and the said Frederick George Twiss will carry on the business of Sharebroker and General Commission Agent at the premises of the late Partnership.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and in the matter of THE RENOWN GOLD-MINING COMPANY, LIMITED, a mining company incorporated under the said Act.

NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the shareholders held on Friday, the 6th day of January, 1928, the following extraordinary resolutions were passed:—

"That it is proved to the satisfaction of the company that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same."

"That Mr. S. LEAH, Public Accountant, of Auckland, be appointed Liquidator for the purposes of such winding-up."

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between ALBERT ROTORUA GRAHAM and LESLIE NORMAN JACKA, carrying on business as Barristers and Solicitors at Nos. 44 and 45 Campbell's Building, corner High Street and Vulcan Lane, Auckland, under the style or firm of "Graham and Jacka," has been dissolved by mutual consent as from this date.

Mr. A. R. Graham will continue to practise as a Barrister and Solicitor in the same offices as heretofore, and will receive and pay all debts due to and owing by the late firm respectively.

On and after the 1st day of February, 1928, Mr. L. N. Jacka will practise as a Barrister and Solicitor at "Yorkshire House" (Fourth Floor), corner of Shortland and O'Connell Streets, Auckland.

BOROUGH OF ST. KILDA.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, the St. Kilda Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—

That, for the purpose of providing the interest, sinking fund, and other charges on a loan of £5,000, authorized to be raised by the St. Kilda Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of repaying the Waterworks Loan of £5,000 which matures on the 10th January, 1928, the said St. Kilda Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of three-eighths of one penny (3/8d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of St. Kilda, comprising the whole of the said borough, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable on the 10th day of January and the 10th day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of fourteen years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

WAIKATO COUNTY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Waikato County Council hereby resolves as follows:—

That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Waikato County Kainui Special-rating District Loan of £300, 1927, authorized to be raised by the Waikato County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of constructing and sanding roads in the Kainui Special-rating District No. 3, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-fifth (1/5th) of a penny in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the Kainui Special-rating District No. 3, being more particularly described in the Schedule at the foot hereof, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and one-half (36 1/2) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

SCHEDULE.

All that area in the County of Waikato, being part of Blocks IV and VIII of the Newcastle Survey District, and Block V, Komakorau Survey District, bounded commencing at a point in the south-west boundary of Allotment 206 of
