Paper, waterproofed and reinforced with twine, used as a substitute for sheet glass
“Windolite,” a transparent composition reinforced with fine wire-netting
Golf-club heads and shafts, of wood, in the rough
Gramophones, fittings for, viz.,—
Clockwork motors, governors, and gearing, on declaration by a manufacturer that they will be used by him solely in the manufacture of gramophones
Guns, shot, materials for the manufacture of, viz.,—
Metal parts and fittings, including barrels, in the rough, i.e., not advanced beyond a stage of completion to be approved by the Minister
Hats and caps, articles and materials used in the manufacture of, viz.,—
Bandeaux linings (for making ladies’ hats fit firmly), on declaration by a manufacturer that they will be used by him solely in the manufacture of hats
Boards for making college caps (“mortar-boards”)
Braid or lace, gold and silver, also plain black oak-leaf braid, when cut into lengths not exceeding 28 in., on declaration by a manufacturer that it will be used by him solely for hat and cap making
Buttons (octagonal pieces of paper and textile for finishing straw hats)
Cap peaks, canvas or cardboard shapes for ..

Fasteners, clip, for fastening crowns of hats to brims
Felt, tubular, in short lengths, suitable only for making ladies’ hats
Hat-sweats, of leather-cloth, being substitutes for hatters’ leathers
“Lion’s head” hat-brim retainers ..
Plateaux, flat, circular, of felt, for manufacture of hats
Shape-retainers for hats and caps, when declared by a hat or cap manufacturer for use only in making hats or caps, viz.,—
Cap-canes, bent to circular shape, with the ends joined, specially suited for supporting the crowns of caps
Hat-grip of celluloid, the “West,” for stitching under the front of the crown of a soft felt hat
Hat-shape retainers, the “Nodento,” for placing inside fronts of soft felt hats
Springs, metal, for supporting crowns of uniform caps
Straw plaits and similar materials—
Fabrics peculiar to hatmaking (not including millinery trimmings), composed of crinoline or imitation horsehair, or of this material plaited or woven with cotton, linen, silk, wool, cellophane, or other fibres
Fabrics peculiar to hatmaking, composed of flat cellophane strips interwoven with ribbon, not being hat or bonnet trimmings
Paper-cloth, woven, on declaration by a manufacturer that it will be used by him solely in the manufacture of hats

Straw plait, braid, “lace,” and similar fabrics (peculiar to use in building up hats and not being hat-trimmings), plain or fancy, composed wholly or partially of grass, rush, hemp, straw, or crinoline, or imitation grass, rush, hemp, or straw (including cellophane)
