✨ Main Highways Declarations



Invercargill-Fortrose Main Highway.

All those streets or portions of street in the Borough of
South Invercargill—commencing at the northern boundary
of the Borough of South Invercargill, and proceeding gen-
erally in a south-easterly direction via Elles Road, Tramway
Road, Moulson Street on the north side of the Seaward Bush
Railway, Brown Street, and Scott Street, and terminating
at the eastern boundary of the Borough of South Invercargill,
being a distance of 2 miles 25 chains, more or less: as the
same is more particularly delineated on plan marked P.W.D.
71278, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board
at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon
coloured blue..

Lorne to Castlerock Main Highway.

All those streets or portions of street in the Borough of
Winton—commencing at the southern boundary of the
Borough of Winton, and proceeding generally in a northerly
direction via the Main North Road, and terminating at the

northern boundary of the Borough of Winton, being a dis-
tance of 1 mile 42 chains, more or less: as the same is more
particularly delineated on plan marked P.W.D. 71280,
deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wel-
lington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured
blue.

Gore-Winton Main Highway.

All those streets or portions of street in the Borough of
Winton—commencing at the eastern boundary of the Borough
of Winton, and proceeding generally in a westerly direction
along Devon Street, and terminating at the junction of Devon
Street with the Main North Road, being a distance of 4 chains,
more or less: as the same is more particularly delineated on
plan marked P.W.D. 71280, deposited in the office of the
Main Highways Board at Wellington, in the Wellington
Land District, and thereon coloured blue.
