Land taken for the Purposes of a Public School in Block XV, Tokomaru Survey District, Waiapu County.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a public school, and shall vest in the Education Board of the District of Hawke’s Bay as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the first day of March, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 3 acres.
Being portion of Tauwhareparae No. 1A 4 Block, situated in Block XV, Tokomaru Survey District (Gisborne R.D.). (S.O. 1268, brown).
In the Gisborne Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 67730, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon edged red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 11th day of February, 1927.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and the Rangitaiki Land Drainage Act, 1910, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the more effective carrying-out of the drainage or other works authorized by the Rangitaiki Land Drainage Act, 1910, and for the better disposal of Crown or other land within the district defined by the said Act; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-fifth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven.

Proclaiming Native Land to have become Crown Land.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section twenty-three of the Native Land Amendment and Native Land Claims Adjustment Act, 1926, it is provided, inter alia, that the Crown may acquire by way of gift from the owners the undermentioned land, and that whenever the Governor-General is satisfied that the owners of the said land have assented to such gift, he may proclaim that such land has become Crown land:
And whereas the Governor-General is satisfied that the Native owners have duly assented to such gift.
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by the said recited section and all other powers thereunto me enabling, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim that the Native land set out in the Schedule hereto has become Crown land.
SCHEDULE.
SECTION 167, Oakura District (known as Te Koru Pa): Approximate area, 3 acres 1 rood.
Situated in Block II, Wairau Survey District.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 12th day of February, 1927.
