Crown Land set apart for Disposal by way of Sale or Lease
to Discharged Soldiers, under Special Tenures, in the Auck-
land Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon
me by section four of the Discharged Soldiers Settlement
Act, 1915, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim
and declare that the area of Crown land described in the Sche-
dule hereto shall be and the same is hereby set apart and
declared open for disposal by way of sale or lease to discharged
soldiers, under special tenures, in the manner provided in the
said Act.
SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
Piako County.—Wairere Survey District.
SECTION 63, Block XIII: Area, 14 acres 1 rood 34 perches.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 12th day of
February, 1927.

A PROCLAMATION.
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests
Act, 1921–22, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
set apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a
permanent State forest.
SCHEDULE.
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—AUCKLAND FOREST-
CONSERVATION REGION.
State Forest No. 131 (Riverhead Plantation Extension).
ALL that area, containing by admeasurement 114 acres 2 roods
4 perches, more or less, being Allotments E 41, E.M. 42,
S.E. 67, and 132, Ararimu Parish, Waitemata County; as the
same are more particularly delineated on plan No. 17/4,
deposited at Head Office, State Forest Service, Wellington,
and thereon washed red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 15th day of
February, 1927.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—ROTORUA FOREST-CONSERVATION
REGION.
State Forest No. 78.—Kaingaroa Plantation Extension.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, situated in
Blocks IV, VIII, and XII, Kaingaroa Survey District, and
Blocks I V, VI, and IX, Galatea Survey District, com-
prising parts of Runs Nos. 54 and 56. Containing by ad-
measurement 13,000 acres, more or less. Bounded on the
north by the Ngatamawahine Stream, towards the south-east
by Native Block Rangipo Nos. 1 and 2, Section 1, Block V,
Galatea Survey District (Native school site), Native Block
Karatia 1A, part 1B 2A, 1B 1 and part 1B 2A, towards the
south generally by a road, towards the south-west by
Kaingaroa Plantation, Gazette, 1911, page 3567, and towards
the west by the Kaingaroa Plantation, Gazette, 1926, page 1918,
to the Ngatamawahine Stream, being the point of commence-
ment. Save and excepting a Native reserve Oruatewehi,
and two portions of a road included in the above-described
boundary. As the same is more particularly delineated on
the plan marked 47/11 deposited in the Head Office of the
State Forest Service, Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 15th day of,
February, 1927.

Revocation of the Reservation as a Permanent State Forest.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by an Order in Council dated the twenty-
third day of November, nineteen hundred and
four, and published in the Gazette of the first day of December,
nineteen hundred and four, an area of twenty-five acres,
three roods, ten perches, being portion of Reserve Number
2014, Block XIII, Te Kapo Survey District (hereinafter
referred to as the “said reserve”) was appropriated for the
growth and preservation of timber.
And whereas by an Order in Council dated the sixth day of
January, nineteen hundred and five, and published in the
Gazette of the second day of February, nineteen hundred and
five, the said reserve was authorized to be exchanged for the
land described in the Schedule hereto.
And whereas the exchange was duly completed and the said
land described in the Schedule hereto thereby became reserved
as a State forest.
And whereas the revocation of such reservation was pursuant
to section nineteen of the Forests Act, 1921–22, duly approved
by a resolution in that behalf passed by both Houses of
Parliament.
Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in
pursuance of such resolution, and by virtue and in exercise
of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the
Forests Act, 1921–22, do hereby revoke the reservation of
the said land described in the Schedule hereto as a permanent
State forest.
SCHEDULE.
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.—CANTERBURY-OTAGO FOREST
CONSERVATION REGION.
ALL that area, containing by admeasurement 40 acres, more
or less, being Rural Sections 717 and 718, Block VI, Te Kapo
Survey District, as comprised in certificate of title No. 194/237,
Canterbury. As the same is more particularly delineated on
plan No. 159/4, deposited in the Head Office, State Forest
Service, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 15th day of
February, 1927.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by
section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, General Sir
Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion
of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road the land in
Momahaki Survey District described in the First Schedule
hereto; and also do hereby proclaim as closed the road de-
scribed in the Second Schedule hereto.
