SCHEDULE.
OTAGO LAND DISTRICT.—TOWN LAND.
Lake County.—Town of Queenstown.
SECTIONS 1, 2, 18, 19, and 38: Area, 1 acre 0 roods 14 perches
Upset price, £760.
This land occupies one of the very best sites in Queenstown, being alongside the Gardens and adjacent to the main road. It is in the best residential portion, well drained, with good aspect. An ideal site for an up-to-date hotel.
Special Condition.—The contract for sale does not include any fencing or other improvements on the property.

CONDITIONS OF SALE.
The purchaser may pay for the land in cash or by deferred payments. The terms are:—

  1. Cash.—One-fifth of the purchase-money to be paid on the fall of the hammer, and the balance, with Crown grant fee (£1), within thirty days thereafter.
  2. Deferred Payments.—Five per cent. of the purchase-money, together with £1 1s. license fee, to be paid on the fall of the hammer.
    The balance of the purchase-money, with interest thereon at the rate of 5½ per cent. per annum, to be paid by instalments extending over a period of 34½ years.
    The licensee shall have the right at any time during the currency of his license to pay off either the whole of the purchase-money or any half-yearly instalment or instalments thereof then remaining unpaid.
    Upon receipt of the final instalment a certificate of title in respect of the land purchased shall issue upon payment of the prescribed Crown grant fee.
    If the purchaser fails to make any of the prescribed payments by due date the amount (if any) already paid shall be forfeited, and the contract for the sale be null and void.
    Titles will be subject to Part XIII of the Land Act, 1924.

STATE FOREST SERVICE NOTICE.
Land in Wellington Forest-conservation Region acquired as a Permanent State Forest.

Wellington, 21st January, 1927.

NOTICE is hereby given that, in pursuance of section 4 of the Forests Amendment Act, 1925, the land described in the First Schedule hereto was acquired as a permanent State forest on 10th November, 1926, in exchange for the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE.
WELLINGTON FOREST-CONSERVATION REGION.—TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT.
State Forest No. 95.

ALL that area containing by admeasurement 260 acres, 2 roods, more or less, being Allotment 1 on deposited plan No. 4753, and being part of Section 5, Block II, Mahoe Survey District, and comprising all the land described in certificate of title, Vol. 115, folio 185. (Taranaki Registration District).

SECOND SCHEDULE.
All that portion of Forest Reserve 311, containing by admeasurement 138 acres 3 roods, more or less, being Allotment 1 of Section 4, Block II, Mahoe Survey District.
As the same are delineated on plan No. 61/4, deposited in the Head Office, State Forest Service, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
