Consenting under the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926,
to the Raising of a Loan by the Napier Harbour Board.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 14th day of
November, 1927.
Present:
THE RIGHT HONOURABLE J. G. COATES, P.C., PRESIDING IN
COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon him by the Local Government Loans
Board Act, 1926, and of all other powers and authorities
enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-
General of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth
hereby consent to the borrowing by the Napier Harbour Board
of the sum of forty-seven thousand two hundred pounds
for the purpose of redeeming outstanding portion of a loan
of fifty thousand pounds in one thousand nine hundred and
seventeen, subject to the following conditions:-
- The said sum may be borrowed for a term not exceeding
thirty-six years. - The Napier Harbour Board shall, before borrowing the
said sum or any part thereof, make provision for the
repayment of the said sum by establishing a sinking fund
under the Local Bodies Loans' Act, 1926, and by making
to such sinking fund payments at intervals of not more
than one year, at a rate which shall be not less than
one per centum, such payments to be made in respect
of every part of the said sum for the time being so
borrowed and not repaid, and the first payment to
be made not later than one year after the first day
from which interest to the lender is computed on
any moneys so borrowed.

thirty-six years. - The Napier Harbour Board shall, before borrowing the said
sum or any part thereof, make provision for the repay-
ment of the said sum by establishing a sinking fund

Amending Order in Council vesting Management of Wharf at
Whitford, in the Manukau County Council.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 14th day
of November, 1927.
Present:
THE RIGHT HONOURABLE J. G. COATES, P.C., PRESIDING IN
COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the fifteenth day
of October, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-
five, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 75, of the
twenty-second day of the same month, the management of
the wharf at Whitford was vested in the Manukau County
Council, subject to the conditions set forth in the First
Schedule to the said Order in Council, and dues and rates
were prescribed for the use of the said wharf:
And whereas it is desirable to amend the said Order in
Council in the manner hereinafter described:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of
the power and authority vested in him by the Harbours Act,
1923, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him
in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby
revoke the Second Schedule to the hereinbefore-recited Order
in Council, and doth hereby substitute the following Schedule
in lieu thereof.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
Dues and Rates.
Wharfage.
On every ordinary passenger or cargo steamship or Β£ s. d.
auxiliary vessel over 5 tons register using the
wharf, per quarter or part of a quarter . 1 17 6
On every steamer 5 tons or under, per day or part
of a day . 0 3 6
On every sailing-sessel or auxiliary sailing-vessel
over 5 tons, per day or part of a day . 0 5 0
On every sailing-vessel or auxiliary sailing-vessel

On every excursion steamer, per day or part of a day 0 5 0
On every motor-launch, on regular service, per

Passenger Wharfage.
For every passenger landed on the Whitford Wharf from any
vessel or by means of a boat or other tender from any
vessel lying away from such wharf, the sum of 3d. shall be
paid, and the owner of the vessel from which the passenger
is landed shall pay such charge to the Manukau County
Council immediately on the landing of such passenger. The
master of any such vessel landing passengers as aforesaid
shall furnish to the Council a certified statement of the
number of passengers so landed.

and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 109, of the
sixteenth day of the same month, the management of the
wharf at Maraetai was vested in the Manukau County Council,
hereinafter called "the Council," until the eleventh day of
September, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-nine, and
dues and rates, and regulations, were prescribed and made
for the use of the said wharf:
