A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by subsection nine of section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that from and after the date hereof the land comprised in the piece of closed road described in the First Schedule hereto, being land adjacent to that portion of the Mount Somers Domain described in the Second Schedule hereto, shall be deemed to be added to the said Mount Somers Domain.

FIRST SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District containing by admeasurement 3 acres 1 rood 9·3 perches, more or less, and being Reserve 4192 (formerly parts of Rural Sections 18513 and 27148), Block XV, Alford Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards the north-east by a public road, 180·6 links; towards the south by part Reserve 1632, 67 links; towards the east by other part of Reserve 1632, Reserves 1633 and 2403, and a public road, 3453 links; towards the south-west by part Rural Section 27148, 105 links; and again towards the west by other part of Rural Section 27148 and part Rural Section 18513, 3490·5 links: As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/448, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

SECOND SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District containing by admeasurement 30 acres 1 rood, more or less, and being Reserve 1633, Block XV, Alford Survey District.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 11th day of November, 1927.

Revoking the Setting-apart of Land for Selection by Discharged Soldiers under Special Tenures, in the Southland Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation made on the twenty-second day of June, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen, and published in the Gazette of the twenty-seventh day of June then instant, setting apart Crown land for selection by discharged soldiers, under the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, in so far as it relates to the land in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

WALLACE COUNTY.—JACOB’S RIVER HUNDRED.—SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT.

SECTION 5, Block XXII: Area, 306 acres 1 rood 19 perches.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 11th day of November, 1927.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by section three hundred and two of the Land Act, 1924, it is enacted that the Governor-General may, by Proclamation approved in Executive Council, declare that any national-endowment land within the Karamea-Westland Mining District held under a renewable lease issued
