A plan showing the said land required to be taken is open for inspection at the office of Wilson’s (N.Z.) Portland Cement, Limited, Richard Upton Buildings, Customs Street East, Auckland.

All persons affected by the taking of the said lands are hereby required to set forth in writing any well-grounded objection to the taking of the said lands, and to send such writing to the Secretary of Wilson’s (N.Z.) Portland Cement, Limited, Customs Street East, Auckland, within forty days from the date hereof.

SCHEDULE.

All that parcel of land situated in the Whangarei County and in Block 16, Mangakahia Survey District, containing four perches (4 p.), more or less, being part of the block called Mangakahia 2B No. 1: As the same is more particularly delineated on a plan deposited in the Chief Surveyor’s Office, at Auckland, under No. 23049, and coloured purple. And also all that parcel of land situated as aforesaid, containing six acres one rood and sixteen perches (6 a. 1 rd. 16 p.), more or less, being part of the block called Mangakahia 2B No. 2A: As the same is more particularly delineated on a plan deposited in the Chief Surveyor’s Office, at Auckland, under No. 23049, and coloured blue. And also all that parcel of land situated as aforesaid containing one acre one rood and eleven perches (1 a. 1 rd. 11 p.), more or less, being part of the block of land called Mangakahia 2B No. 2G: As the same is more particularly delineated on a plan deposited in the Chief Surveyor’s Office, at Auckland, under No. 23049, and coloured yellow.

In the matter of the Public Works Act, 1908, and in the matter of WILSON’S (N.Z.) PORTLAND CEMENT, LIMITED, WAIRUA POWER-STATION.

NOTICE is hereby given that Wilson’s (N.Z.) Portland Cement, Limited, a duly incorporated company, having its registered office at Auckland, in the Provincial District of Auckland, in New Zealand, under the powers vested in it by license conferred by clause 15 of Order in Council dated the 1st day of July, 1913, whereby the company is empowered to take, in the manner provided by Part II of the Public Works Act, 1908, such land as may, in the opinion of the Governor-General, be necessary to enable the company to construct, maintain, develop, or carry on the various works authorized by such license, requires to take under the provisions of sections 18 and 19 of the Public Works Act, 1908, for the purposes of the development of electrical power in the lands described in the Schedule hereto.

All that piece of land, situated in the Whangarei County, containing two roods and thirty-four perches (2 roods 34 perches), more or less, being part of the block of land situated in Block 16 of the Mangakahia Survey District called Mangakahia 2G: As the same is more particularly delineated on a plan deposited in the Chief Surveyor’s Office, at Auckland, under Number 23043, and coloured yellow; and also all that piece of land situated as aforesaid, containing five perches (5 perches), more or less, being part of the block of land situated in Block 16 of Mangakahia Survey District called Mangakahia 2D: As the same is more particularly delineated on a plan deposited in the Chief Surveyor’s Office at Auckland, under Number 23043, and coloured blue.

In the matter of the Public Works Act, 1908, and the Acts amending the same.

NOTICE is hereby given that THE EDUCATION BOARD OF THE DISTRICT OF CANTERBURY, a body corporate constituted under the provisions of the Education Act, 1914, proposes to take, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1908, and its amendments, for educational purposes—that is to say, as the site for a new school—all that parcel of land situated in the Canterbury Land District and in Block XV of the Pigeon Bay Survey District, and in the Akaroa-Wainui Road District, and in the Akaroa County, containing by admeasurement 3 acres, be the same a little more or less, being part of Rural Section 187, and part of the land comprised in certificate of title, Vol. 212, folio 44 (Canterbury Lands Registry Office). Commencing at the north-east corner of Lot 16, deposit plan 1887, and running in a south-westerly direction on a bearing of 254° 9′ for a distance of 386·4 links; thence north-west on a bearing of 305° 58′ for a distance of 215·15 links; thence north-east on a bearing of 3° 28′ for a distance of 187·25 links; thence north-west on a bearing of 353° 28′ for a distance of 329·85 links; thence north-east on a bearing of 74° 9′ for a distance of 398·55 links; thence south-east on a bearing of 164° 9′ for a distance of 567·8 links; thence north-east on a bearing of 74° 9′ for a distance of 5·5 links to the north-western corner of the road; thence south-east on a bearing of 164° 9′ along the western boundary of the road for a distance of 103·5 links, back to the commencing-point: as the same is delineated in the plan mentioned below and therein coloured green.

And notice is hereby further given that a plan showing the land required to be taken and the names of the owners and occupiers of such land is deposited at the offices of the Education Board of the District of Canterbury, Oxford Terrace, Christchurch aforesaid, where it lies open for public inspection daily, without fee, during all reasonable hours; and that all persons affected shall, if they have any objection to the taking of such land, set forth, in writing, such objection, and send such writing within forty days from the date of the first publication of such notice being the 3rd day of November, 1927, addressed to the Chairman of the Education Board of the District of Canterbury at the offices of the Board, Oxford Terrace, Christchurch.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Waipara County Council, in pursuance of the provisions of sections 18 and 19 of the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other Acts and powers enabling it in that behalf, intends to execute a certain public work—namely, the taking of the parcel of land more particularly described in the Schedule hereto for the purpose of a public road.

And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Waipara County Council, at Waikari, and is there open for inspection for a period of forty days (without fee) by all persons during office hours, and that all persons affected by
