Lands in Wellington Land District forfeited.
Department of Lands and Survey, Wellington, 15th October, 1927.
Notice is hereby given that the leases and licenses of the undermentioned lands having been declared forfeited by resolution of the Wellington Land Board, the said lands have thereby reverted to the Crown under the provisions of the Land Act, 1924, and the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, and amendments.

Notice is hereby given that the lease of the undermentioned land having been declared forfeited by resolution of the Otago Land Board, the said land has thereby reverted to the Crown under the provisions of the Land Act, 1924.
SCHEDULE.
OTAGO LAND DISTRICT.
Tenure: Renewable Lease (Settlement). Lease No. 72.
Section 4, Pomahaka Settlement. Lessee: Neil Fletcher (deceased).
Reason for forfeiture: At request of the widow.

Situated one mile and a quarter from Cust Railway-station and School. Watered by water-races. Land is of medium quality, suitable for cropping, grazing, and fattening. All in fair order. About half the area in fair to old pasture; balance oat and wheat stubble.
ABSTRACT OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF LEASE.

Six months rent at the rate offered, together with £2 2s. lease fee and cost of registration, must be paid on the fall of the hammer, and £160 (value of improvements) paid before possession.

Possession will be given on the 1st January, 1928, to which date all rates and other outgoings will be adjusted.

Term of lease, twenty-one years, with right of renewal for further similar terms at rentals based on fresh valuations under the provisions of the Public Bodies' Leases Act, 1908.

Rent payable half-yearly, in advance, on 1st day of January and July in each year.

Lessee to maintain in good substantial repair all buildings, drains, and fences; to keep clear all creeks, drains, ditches, and watercourses; to trim all live hedges, and yield up all improvements in good order and condition at the expiration of his lease.

Lessee not to transfer, sublet, or subdivide without the consent of the Land Board.

Lessee to keep the land free from noxious weeds, rabbits, and vermin.

Lessee not to use or remove any gravel without the consent of the Land Board.

Lessee not to carry on any noxious, noisome, or offensive trade upon the land.

Lessee not to make improvements without the consent of the Land Board.

Lessee not to take more than three crops in succession, one of which must be a root crop; after the third crop the land to be left in pasture for at least three years; at least two-thirds of the area cropped to be left in pasture at the expiration of the term; penalty for breach, £2 per acre.
Education Reserve in Canterbury Land District for Lease by Public Auction.

Christchurch, 17th October, 1927.
Notice is hereby given that the undermentioned education reserve will be offered for lease by public auction at the District Lands and Survey Office, Christchurch, at 2.30 o'clock p.m., on Wednesday, 7th December, 1927, under the provisions of the Education Reserves Act, 1908, and the Public Bodies' Leases Act, 1908, and amendments.

Mairaki Survey District.
Lot 1 of E.R. 927. Blocks VI, VII, X, and XI: Area, 263 acres 1 rood 35 perches. Upset annual rental, £245. Weighted with £160, valuation for improvements.
