All that area in the Hutt County bounded on the north and east by the county boundary from the northern boundary of Section 18, Block X, Kaitawa Survey District, and Blocks II and III, Akatarawa Survey District, to the northern boundary of the Wellington Waterworks Reserve, Block IX, Rimutaka Survey District; thence north-westerly and south-westerly along the northern and western boundaries of that reserve to the south-eastern corner of Section 282, Block VIII, Rimutaka Survey District; thence northerly and westerly generally along the southern boundary of Section 282 aforesaid, the western boundaries of Sections 282, and 64, Block VIII aforesaid, the southern boundary of Section 34, the western boundaries of Sections 34 and 33, Block V, Rimutaka Survey District, to the south-eastern corner of Section 37, Block V aforesaid; thence along the south-eastern boundary of the said Section 37 to its south-western corner; thence along the western boundaries of Sections 37, 39, and 41 to the southern boundary of Section 42, Block V aforesaid; thence along the southern boundary of said Section 42 to its south-eastern corner; thence along the eastern boundaries of Sections 42, 43, 44, 45, 46, and 47, Block V aforesaid, to the north-eastern corner of the last-mentioned section; thence along the northern boundary of that section, the western and northern boundaries of Section 286, Block V aforesaid, to the south-western corner of Section 283; thence along the western boundaries generally of Sections 283 and 168, Block V aforesaid, and Sections 166, 164, 162, 160, 158, 156, 154, 152, and 150 to the boundary of the Borough of Upper Hutt, hereinbefore described; thence along that boundary to the Hutt River; thence by a right line across that river to the southern boundary of Section 177; thence along the southern boundaries of Sections 177 and 214, Block XIV, Akatarawa Survey District, to the south-west corner of the last-mentioned section; thence along the western boundary of that section and the southern boundary of Sections 421 and 2, Block XIV aforesaid, to the south-western corner of the last-mentioned section; thence along the western boundaries of Sections 2, 354, 355, 356, 357, and 358, Block XIV, Sections 359, 362, 363, 366, and 367, Block X, Akatarawa Survey District, to the north-eastern corner of Section 5, Block X aforesaid; thence along the north-western boundary of that section to the Akatarawa River; thence across that river and along the south-eastern boundaries of Sections 10 and 1, Block IX, the Akatarawa Survey District, to the south-western corner of the last-mentioned section; thence along the western boundaries of Sections 1, 12, 13, Block IX aforesaid, Sections 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1, Block V, and Section 15, Block I, to the north-western corner of the last-mentioned section; thence along the south-western and western boundaries of Section 13, and the western boundary of Section 14, Block I, to the north-western corner of the last-mentioned section; thence along the north-western boundary of Section 1, Block II, the southern western, and northern boundaries of Section 16, Block II, to the north-eastern corner of the said Section 16; thence along the eastern boundary of Section 17, Block XIV, Kaitawa Survey District, to the north-western corner of Section 18, Block XIV aforesaid; thence along the northern boundary of the said Section 18 to the county boundary, the place of commencement.

BOUNDARIES OF HERETAUNGA RIDING.

All that area in the Hutt County bounded on the west and north by the Horokiwi Riding hereinbefore described, and on the east by the Mungaroa Riding hereinbefore described from the south-western corner of Section 269, Hutt Registration District, to the southernmost corner of Section 282, Block VIII, Rimutaka Survey District; thence southerly along the eastern boundary of Section 6, Block VIII, Rimutaka Survey District, to its south-eastern corner; thence along the southern boundaries generally of Sections 6 and 7, Block VIII, Rimutaka Survey District, and Section 8, Block XV, Belmont Survey District, to the westernmost corner of the last-mentioned section; thence along the southern boundary of Section 233, Block X, Belmont Survey District, and the eastern boundaries of Sections 233 and 234, Block X aforesaid, to the north-eastern corner of the last-mentioned section; thence along the southern and north-eastern boundaries of Section 248, Block X aforesaid, to the northernmost corner of that section; thence along the north-western boundary of Section 249, Block X, aforesaid, to the north-eastern boundary of Section 204; thence along the north-eastern boundaries of Sections 204 and 191 to the Hutt River; thence up the Hutt River to the south-western boundary of the Horokiwi Riding, the place of commencement.

Notice respecting proposed Constitution of Kaipara River District, County of Waitemata.

Department of Internal Affairs,
Wellington, 13th October, 1927.

IT is hereby notified that a petition has been presented to His Excellency the Governor-General, under the River Boards Act, 1908, and its amendments, praying that the area described in the Schedule hereto may be constituted a river district under the said Act, by name the Kaipara River District. All persons affected are hereby called upon to lodge any written objections to or petitions against the constitution of the said river district which they desire to lodge within one month from the first publication of this notice, such objections or petitions to be addressed to the Minister of Internal Affairs, Wellington.

AREA PROPOSED TO BE CONSTITUTED AS KAIPARA RIVER DISTRICT.

ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District bounded by a line commencing at the north-western corner of Section 61, Ararimu Parish; thence south-westerly along the eastern and south-eastern boundaries of Section 163, Paremoremo Parish, to the south-eastern corner of the said Section 163; thence south-easterly along the north-eastern boundary of part Section 3, Ararimu Parish, to the north-eastern boundary of Section 49, Paremoremo Parish; thence south-easterly and southerly along that boundary and along the eastern boundary of Section 50, Paremoremo Parish, to the Kumeu River; thence westerly along the northern side of that river to the eastern boundary of Lot 15, Waikoukou No. 2 Block; thence to and along that boundary to a public road forming the southern boundary of Lots 15, 14, and 13, Waikoukou No. 2 aforesaid; thence westerly along that road to the road forming the eastern boundary of Lot 2; thence across that road and southerly along its western side to the Auckland–Helensville railway; thence westerly generally along the northern side of that railway to the intersection of the railway with a tributary of the Kaipara River, about 10 chains west of Riwiti Railway-station; thence southerly along that creek to a point in line with the north-eastern corner of Uhurua 3B Block; thence to and across a public road to that corner; thence along the north-western boundaries of Uhurua 3B and 1A to the sand line; thence following the sand line to its intersection with the south-eastern boundary of Kopironui B 2E 2; thence along the south-eastern, south-western, and north-western boundaries of that block to its intersection with the sand line on the north-western boundary; thence following the sand line through Kopironui B 2E 2, B 2E 1, and B 2D 2, Te Kiti B, Pukekaurere 2, 1, and 4 Blocks, and Lots 4, 3, 9, and 7, Paeroa Block, to the Kaituna Stream; thence down that stream to the eastern side of the Auckland–Helensville railway, and along the eastern side of that railway to the Kaipara River; thence across that river and up its right bank to a public road, and along that road to its intersection with the Mangakura Valley Road; thence southerly along a right line to the road at the north-eastern corner of Waipapa No. 1 Block; thence southerly along that road to the northern boundary of Pukekauwere No. 1 Block; thence along the northern boundaries of that block, the western boundaries of Pukeatua Nos. 1A and 1B to the north-western corner of the last-mentioned block; thence along the northern boundaries of Pukeatua Nos. 1B, 1C, and 1D to the Wharauroa River; thence down that river to the northern boundary of Lot 8, Waikoukou No. 2 Block; thence along that boundary to the north-eastern corner of the said Lot 8; thence south-easterly along the north-eastern boundary of Lot 8 aforesaid, and the south-western boundary of Lot 1, Waikoukou No. 2, to the southernmost corner of the said Lot 1; thence northerly generally along the road forming the western boundaries of part Waikoukou No. 2 and Lots 16, 17, 18, and 19, Waikoukou Nos. 2 and 1 Blocks, to the northernmost corner of the last-mentioned lot; thence across a public road and along the south-western and north-western boundaries of Lot 20, Waikoukou No. 1, to the south-western boundary of part 3, Tekokopu Block; thence along the south-western and north-western boundary of that block to the Tekokopu Stream; thence up that stream to the northern boundary of part Tekokopu Block, containing 760 acres; thence easterly generally along that boundary to the Waikoukou Stream; thence up that stream to the north-western corner of Section 163, Paremoremo Parish; thence along the northern and north-eastern boundaries of Section 163 aforesaid to the north-western corner of Section 61, Ararimu Parish, the point of commencement.
