ST. BATHAN'S GOLD - MINING COMPANY, LIMITED.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and in the matter
of St. Bathan's Gold-Mining Co., Ltd.

A T an extraordinary meeting of the members of the above-
named company duly convened and held at the re-
gistered office of the company, 154 Thames Street, Oamaru,
on Monday, the 22nd day of August, 1927, the following special
resolution was duly passed :-
"That the company be wound up voluntarily, and that R.
FINCH, of Oamaru, be appointed Liquidator for the purpose of
such winding-up."

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

GEORGE MEE, CHEMIST.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore
subsisting between us, the undersigned, carrying on
business as Chemists and Druggists at Lambton Quay, in the
City of Wellington, under the style or firm of "George Mee,"
has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the date hereof.
Mr. Aubrey A. Mee will continue to carry on the old-estab-
lished business of George Mee as usual.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and in the matter
of the BULLER GOLD-MINING Co., LTD.

NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general
meeting of shareholders of the above-named company,
held on Monday, the 22nd August, 1927, the following resolution was passed:-
"That it is proved to the satisfaction of the company that
it cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business,
and that it is advisable for it to wind up the same; and that
LEONARD KNIGHT, Public Accountant, of 408 New Zealand
Insurance Buildings, Queen Street, Auckland, be and is hereby
appointed the Liquidator for the purposes of the winding-up."
Creditors of the above-named company are required on or
before the 22nd day of October, 1927, to send their names,
addresses, and particulars of their debts or claims to the
Liquidator, and, if so required by notice in writing, are to come
in and prove their debts or claims, or in default thereof they
will be excluded from the benefits of any distribution made
before such debts or claims are proved.

MINNIE LOUISE HUGGINS, heretofore called and
known by the name of MINNIE LOUISE DEDMAN, of
the City of Wellington, in the Dominion of New Zealand,
hereby give public notice that on the 21st day of July, 1927,
I formally and absolutely renounced, relinquished, and
abandoned the use of my said surname of "Dedman," and
then assumed and adopted and determined thenceforth on
all occasions whatsoever to use and subscribe the name of
"Huggins" instead of the said name of "Dedman": And
I give further notice that by deed poll dated the 21st day
of July, 1927, a copy of which has been enrolled in the office
of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, at Wellington, I
formally and absolutely renounced and abandoned the said
surname of "Dedman," and declared that I had assumed
and adopted and intend thenceforth upon all occasions
whatsoever to use and subscribe the name of "Huggins"
instead of "Dedman," and so as to be at all times thereafter
called, known, and described by the name of MINNIE LOUISE
HUGGINS exclusively.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

THAT, for the purpose of providing the instalments in
respect of principal and interest and also the other
charges on a loan of Β£1,200 (being 10 per cent. on the
original loan of Β£12,000), authorized to be raised by the
Huntly Town Board under the Local Bodies' Loans Act,
1913, for the purpose of defraying the cost of erecting
municipal buildings, including the purchase of the necessary
site, and the provision of a public hall, with library, ladies'
rest-room, Plunket nurse-room, municipal offices, and neces-
sary furniture throughout, the said Huntly Town Board
hereby makes and levies a special rate of 11/40ths (eleven
fortieths of one penny) in the pound on the rateable value
of all rateable property of the Huntly Town District, com-
prising the whole of the Huntly Town District; and that
such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during
the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the
1st day of April and the 1st day of October in each and
every year during the currency of such loan, being a period
of 36 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
