towards the east by Lot 9 on said deposited plan, 83·49 links ;
towards the south by a right-of-way one chain wide, 232·45
links; and again towards the south-west by the Horsley
Downs - Waikari Road, 92·4 links : As the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 22/3637,
deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey,
at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Vesting the Control of a Scenic Reserve in the Invercargill
Borough Council.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon him by section thirteen of the Scenery
Preservation Act, 1908 (hereunder referred to as “the said
Act”), His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion
of New Zealand doth hereby vest the control of the scenic
reserve described in the Schedule hereto (being land reserved
under the said Act) in the Invercargill Borough Council,
subject to the conditions hereinafter contained, that is to
say:-
- The period for which the control of the reserve is hereby
vested shall be three years from the date hereof, unless the
reservation is previously altered or revoked under the said
Act. - The said Council shall prepare a report each year ending
on the thirty-first day of March, together with a statement of
receipts and expenditure in connection with the said reserve.
Such report and statement shall be sent to the Minister
charged with the administration of the said Act as soon as
possible after the close of the year. - The said Council shall control the said reserve in accord-
ance with the provisions of the said Act and of the regula-
tions made thereunder.
SCHEDULE.
WAIHOPAI RIVER SCENIC RESERVE.-SOUTHLAND LAND
DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the Southland Land District, containing by
admeasurement 17 acres l rood, more or less, being part of
Section 11, Block IV, Invercargill Hundred. Bounded to-
wards the north-east by other part of Section 11, Block IV,
Invercargill Hundred, 1141·8 links ; towards the east by Elles
Road, 425 links ; towards the south and again towards the
east generally by a public road along the bank of the Wai-
hopai River, 4830 links ; and towards the west by other part
of said Section 11, 2861·7 links.
Also all that area in the Southland Land District, contain-
ing by admeasurement 12 acres 2 roods 20 perches, more or
less, being part of Section 10, Block IV, Invercargill Hun-
dred. Bounded towards the north-east by other part of
Section 10, Block IV, Invercargill Hundred, 2277·6 links ;
towards the east by Section 9 of said block, 675 links ; to-
wards the south generally by the Waihopai River, 2850 links ;
and towards the west by Elles Road, 520 links.
Be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same are
delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 400/41, deposited
in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at
Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, this 26th day of July, 1927.

Warrant vesting the Control of the Cadman Road Bridge, on
Cadman Road, in the Ohinemuri County Council.

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of
all other powers and authorities in anyway enabling me in
this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do
hereby direct that the bridge over the canal on Cadman
Road (as more particularly described in the Schedule hereto)
shall, on and after the date of the gazetting hereof, be under
the exclusive care, control, and management of the Ohine-
muri County Council.
SCHEDULE.
THAT bridge in the Auckland Land District over the canal
on Cadman Road, known as Cadman Road Bridge, situated
opposite the southern boundary of Piraurahi No. 2, Block XVI,
Waihou Survey District. As the site of the said bridge is
more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 69500,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon
coloured red.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, this 25th day of July, 1927.
