Defining the Middle-line of a Road in Block IX, Clyde Survey District—viz., a Deviation of the Whakaki-Hereheretau Road.

A PROCLAMATION.

I N pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, the Public Works Amendment Act, 1923, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the middle-line of the road desired to be constructed over Block IX, Clyde Survey District—viz., a deviation of the Whakaki-Hereheretau Road—shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

COMMENCING at a point on the Whakaki-Hereheretau Road, in Hereheretau 2c1 Block, near the western boundary of Block IX, Clyde Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a north-easterly direction, and passing in, into, through, or over the said Hereheretau 2c1 Block, Block IX, Clyde Survey District, and terminating at a point on the said Whakaki-Hereheretau Road, being a distance of 24 chains, more or less, including all adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams, and watercourses.

All in the Hawke’s Bay Land District; as the same is delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 69213, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 4th day of July, 1927.

Amending a Proclamation proclaiming Land as a Road and Road closed, in Block XV, Nuhaka North Survey District, Wairoa County.

A PROCLAMATION.

I N pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Land Act, 1924, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby amend the Proclamation dated the fourth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 27 of the fifth day of the same month, proclaiming land as a road and road closed, in Block XV, Nuhaka North Survey District, Wairoa County, by substituting the area of three decimal six perches for the area of seven decimal three perches in the First Schedule to the said Proclamation, and by substituting the area of thirty-four perches for the area of twenty-nine decimal five perches in the Second Schedule to the said Proclamation. As the said amended areas are more particularly delineated in the plan marked P.W.D. 69279, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 4th day of July, 1927.

Land taken for a Site for Public Buildings in the City of Wanganui.

A PROCLAMATION.

I N pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a site for public buildings; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twelfth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 18·18 perches. Being Lot C and part Lot B, D.P. 257, being part Reserve N, Town of Wanganui R.D., City of Wanganui, situated in Block V, Westmere Survey District. (S.O. 2225.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 69339, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon edged green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 4th day of July, 1927.

A PROCLAMATION.

I N pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the construction of electric works, and shall vest in the Taranaki Electric-power Board as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-second day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven.
