DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between GEORGE TRACEY and ARTHUR MILLER, carrying on business as Builders and Contractors at Lower Hutt, under the style or firm of “Tracey and Miller,” has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 1st day of January, 1927.
All existing contracts will be carried on by the said ARTHUR MILLER.

MASTERTON BOROUGH COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Masterton Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Masterton Borough Sewerage Loan of £4,500, 1926, authorized to be raised by the Masterton Borough Council, under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of relaying or effectively repairing sixty-seven chains of the existing Cole Street sewer; forty-one chains of the existing Pine Street sewer, and twenty-nine chains of the existing Lincoln Road sewer, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of three-sixteenths (3/16ths) of a penny in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the south ward of the Borough of Masterton, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of January and July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

NOTICE UNDER THE PUBLIC WORKS ACT, 1908.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Education Board of the District of Hawke’s Bay intends to execute a certain public work, as hereinafter mentioned, and to take under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1908, for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of a public school, and for an extension to the site of a public school, the following land, namely: All that parcel of land situate in Block XVI, Heretaunga Survey District, containing by admeasurement two (2) acres, more or less, part of Subdivision Number Two (2), Mangateretere West Block, being part of Lot Three (3) on a plan deposited in the Land Transfer Office at Napier, under Number 1913, being part of the land comprised in certificate of title, Vol. 59, folio 46, Hawke’s Bay Register, and being the whole of the land edged pink on the plan hereinafter referred to, a copy of which is also deposited in the office of the Department of Lands and Survey, at Napier, under Number 890 (green).
Notice is further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the office of the Hawke’s Bay Education Board, Browning Street, Napier, and is open for inspection by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such land who have any well-founded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of such land, are hereby called upon to state their objections in writing and send the same, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Education Board of the District of Hawke’s Bay, at its office in Browning Street, Napier, New Zealand.

In the matter of the Partnership Act, 1908; and in the matter of JANES AND COMPANY, a Special Partnership constituted under Part II of the said Act.
WE, the undersigned, pursuant to section 62 of the above Act certify as follows:—
That the special partnership carried on by the undersigned under the above name as Furniture-manufacturers was dissolved as from the 31st day of August, 1926, by mutual consent. All debts due and owing by the late firm will be paid by GEORGE JANES, HERBERT WILLIAM JANES, STANLEY JANES, and SYDNEY JANES who are also entitled to receive all debts owing to the late firm.
