TAKAKA TOWN BOARD.

[RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1925, and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Takaka Town Board hereby resolves as follows :—
That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Takaka Town Board Fire-fighting Equipment Loan of £600, 1927, authorized to be raised by the Takaka Town Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing a fire pump and fire-fighting equipment for the Takaka Town District, the said Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of three-sixteenths (3/16) of a penny in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the Takaka Town District, and that such rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 20th day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

NOTICE is hereby given that the following special resolutions have been entered in the minute-book of the Auckland Piano Agency, Limited, pursuant to subsection (6) of section 168 of the Companies Act, 1908.
Resolution No. 1.—That the Auckland Piano Agency, Limited, be wound up voluntarily with a view to its reconstruction, and that HORACE FRANCIS STEWART be and is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purpose of such winding-up.
Resolution No. 2.—That the said HORACE FRANCIS STEWART as such Liquidator as aforesaid is hereby authorized, pursuant to section 259 of the Companies Act, 1908, to enter into an agreement with Andrew Hanna, of Auckland, Solicitor, as trustee for a company incorporated under the said Act as a private company with the same name as the Auckland Piano Agency, Limited, for the sale to it of the whole of the business and assets of this company, in consideration of the allotment of shares in the new company, upon the terms of a certain scheme of reconstruction which has already been agreed upon between this company and the said Andrew Hanna.
