Additional Land near Oringi taken for the Purpose of the Wellington-Napier Railway, and for Road-diversions in connection therewith.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Wellington-Napier Railway to take further land near Oringi, in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway, and to take land for road-diversions in connection therewith:

Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections twenty-nine and one hundred and eighty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.

Situated in Block V and VI, Tāhoraiti Survey District, Woodville County.

In the Hawke’s Bay Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on plans marked and coloured as above mentioned, and deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 20th day of May, 1927.

Allocating to the Purposes of a Road Land in Block VII, Maungaru Survey District, taken for a Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land which is described in the Schedule hereto (and which was taken for the purposes of the North Auckland Main Trunk Railway, Kirikopuni Section, and is not now required for such purposes) shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become a road, and that such road shall be maintained by the Hobson County Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land dealt with: 37·9 perches.

Being railway land, situated in Block VII, Maungaru Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 24015.)

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 67496,
