DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership formerly subsisting between GEORGE ALBERT GYDE, of Christchurch, Joiner, and JOHN GROSE, of Christchurch, Machinist, in the business of Sash and Door Manufacturers, carried on in Christchurch, was dissolved by mutual consent upon the 31st day of March, 1927. All debts due to and owing by the said late firm will be received and paid respectively by the said George Albert Gyde, who will continue to carry on the business under the style or firm of “Gyde and Grose.”

CAMBRIDGE ELECTRIC-POWER BOARD.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Cambridge Electric-power Board hereby resolves as follows :—

That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £25,000, authorized to be raised by the Cambridge Electric-power Board under the above-mentioned Act for construction of additional electrical works and the repayment of certain moneys, the said Cambridge Electric-power Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of ½d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Cambridge Electric-power District, as defined in the Second Schedule of the Proclamation proclaiming the said district, appearing in the New Zealand Gazette on the 8th day of January, 1920, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and repayable half-yearly on the 1st day of April and the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

I, ROBERT McINTYRE DAVIS OBEN, heretofore called and known by the name of ROBERT McINTYRE DAVIS, of Wellington, Electrician, hereby give notice that I have assumed and intend henceforth upon all occasions and all times to sign and use and be called and known by the name of “Robert McIntyre Davis Oben” in lieu of and in substitution for my present name of “Robert McIntyre Davis,” and that such change or assumption of name is formally declared and evidenced by deed poll under my hand dated the 5th day of May, 1927, and enrolled in the office at Wellington of the Supreme Court of New Zealand.
