Wellington, N.Z., 27th April, 1927.

Lighted Beacon No. 5 out of Position.

Position.—At the northern side of the channel, between Taiaroa Head and Port Chalmers, opposite Kaik Jetty. Lat. 45° 48' S., long. 170° 44' E. (approx.)

Details.—Red beacon No. 5, which shows a fixed red light, has become damaged and has floated from its assigned position. This beacon will remain unlighted until it has been correctly replaced. Replacement of the beacon will be made as soon as such is possible.

Remarks.—No further notice will be given.

Chart affected.—No. 2411 (plan).
