ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 28th day
of March, 1927.
Present :
THE HONOURABLE W. DOWNIE STEWART PRESIDING IN
COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all
other powers in anyway enabling him in this behalf, His
Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent
to the Wairoa County Council stopping the portion of road
described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road permitted to be
stopped : 2 acres 2 roods 31 perches.
Being portion of road, situated in Block XIX, Nuhaka
North Survey District (Hawke's Bay R.D.). (S.O. 867,
green.)
In the Hawke's Bay Land District ; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 68462,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon
coloured green.

of Whakatane.

April, 1927.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all
other powers in anyway enabling him in this behalf, His
Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent
to the land described in the Schedule hereto being taken for
the purposes of paddocking driven cattle.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land permitted to be taken :
9 acres 0 roods 4 perches.
Being portion of Lot 39A, Matata Parish, situated in Block XI,
Rotoma Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 23992.)
In the Auckland Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 67548, deposited
in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington,
in the Wellington Land District, and thereon edged red.

Directing Sale of Railway Land under the Public Works Act,
1908.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 4th day of
April, 1927.
Present :
HIS EXCELLENCEY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by the thirtieth section of the Public Works
Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed "the said Act"), it
is enacted that if it is found that any land held, taken, purchased, or acquired at any time under this or any other Act
or Provincial Ordinance, or otherwise howsoever, for any
public work is not required for such public work, the Governor-General may, by an Order in Council publicly notified and
gazetted, cause the same to be sold under the conditions set
forth in the said Act :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of
the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the said
Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order
and direct the sale of the land described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land : 1 acre 0 roods 21
perches.
Portion of Railway Reserve, part Tahoraite No. 2 Block.
Block II, Tahoraite Survey District.
In the Hawke's Bay Land District, as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked W.R. 9957, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington,
and thereon bordered green.

section forty of the Public Reserves and Domains Act,
1908, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion
of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint
Randall Methuen Benny,
William Benny,
Archibald George Davis,
Roland Robert Dibble,
Walter McInnes,
Thomas McLoughlin, and
Richard Beaumont Penney
to be the Kaihere Domain Board, having control of the land
described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint
Wednesday, the fourth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven, at eight o'clock p.m., as the time
when, and the Public Hall, Kaihere, as the place where, the
first meeting of the Board shall be held.
