A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as stopped the Government road described in the Schedule hereto, such road being no longer required.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road hereby stopped: 1 rood 19·3 perches.
Adjoining or passing through Lots 137, 138, and 136, Maungakaramea Parish, situated in Block IV, Tangihua Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 22333/1.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 55994 (sheet 1), deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured green.

Amending Regulations for Trout-fishing, Taupo District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 4th day of April, 1927.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in him by the Fisheries Act, 1908, and its amendments, and section fourteen of the Native Land Amendment and Native Land Claims Adjustment Act, 1926, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby make the following regulations in amendment of the Taupo Trout-fishing Regulations, 1926 (hereinafter called “the said regulations”), and doth hereby declare that the following regulations shall come into force on and from the seventh day of April, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven.
REGULATIONS.

(1) THESE regulations may be cited as “The Taupo Trout-fishing Regulations Amendment No. 1.”
(2) These regulations shall be read together with and shall be deemed to form part of the said regulations. -
The table set out in clause (2) of Regulation 3 of the said regulations is hereby revoked, and the following substituted therefor:—

Regulation 3 of the said regulations is further amended by revoking clause (3) thereof.

Regulation 14 of the said regulations is amended by inserting after clause (17) thereof the following additional clause:—
“(17A) Notwithstanding the proviso to paragraph (c) of the last preceding clause hereof, it shall not be lawful for a permit-holder or any other person to cut down, lop, or otherwise damage trees or growing timber on any part of the camping area, the trees and growing timber on which have, by notice published in the Gazette, been declared by the Minister to be preserved, and any person who cuts down, lops, or otherwise damages any tree or growing-timber so declared to be preserved is guilty of an offence against these regulations.”
