BOROUGH OF NORTHCOTE.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE FOR QUEEN STREET PAVING LOAN £27,400.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Northcote Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £27,400, authorized to be raised by the Northcote Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of—
(a.) The permanent formation of Queen Street and portion of Onewa Road from the Ferry Wharf to the War Memorial; total length, 96 chains, including formation, kerbing, and channelling, concrete paving, formation of shoulders, storm-water drainage, new water-main, alteration to existing gas and water mains, contingencies, engineering, and all other works and matters incidental thereto;
(b.) The formation of Belle Vue Avenue; total length, 20 chains, including formation of roadway and footways, kerbing and channelling, alterations to gas and water mains, contingencies, engineering, and all other works and matters incidental thereto;
the said Northcote Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one penny and nine-tenths of a penny in the pound sterling upon the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Northcote comprising the whole of the Borough of Northcote, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

MAURICEVILLE COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Mauriceville County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Mauriceville County Cleland’s Road Loan of £300, 1926, authorized to be raised by the Mauriceville County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of forming and metalling Cleland’s Road, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of six twenty-fifths (6/25ths) of a penny in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the Cleland’s Road Special-rating District in the County of Mauriceville, being described as follows:—
Part Section 103, Blocks 3 and 7, Kopuaranga Survey District, and part Sections 106, 107, 108, and 118, Block 7, Kopuaranga Survey District, comprising 2,522 acres 1 rood 28 perches, more or less, bounded as follows: Commencing at the south-western corner of the said Section 103 by the southerly and westerly boundaries thereof, to the south-western corner of the said Section 118; thence by the south-westerly and south-easterly boundaries of the last-mentioned Section 118; thence by the south-easterly and north-easterly boundaries of the said Section 108; thence by the north-easterly boundary of the said Section 107; thence by the north-westerly boundary of the last-mentioned Section 107; thence by the north-easterly boundary of the said Section 106; thence across the said Section 103 to the westerly boundary thereof; thence by the last-mentioned boundary to the point of commencement;
and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the first days of February and August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half (36½) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

NOTICE is hereby given, in pursuance of section 230 (1) of the Companies Act, 1908, that a general meeting of the company will be held in the offices of New Zealand Milk Products (Limited), Spey Street, Invercargill, on Tuesday the 8th February, 1927, at 2.30 p.m., for the purpose of receiving the Liquidator’s report.

NOTICE is hereby given that the members of the above company duly passed on the 14th day of December, 1926, and subsequently confirmed, a special resolution to voluntarily wind up the company, and appointed the under-signed Liquidator.
