The Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act, 1925.—Notice of Proposed Cancellation of Registration.

NOTICE is hereby given that, pursuant to and in exercise of the powers in this behalf conferred upon me by section 23 of the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act, 1925, the registration of the Wanganui Operative Butchers Industrial Union of Workers, registered number 439, situated at Wanganui, will, unless cause to the contrary is shown, be cancelled at the expiration of six weeks from the date hereof.

Mangare Rabbit-proof Fencing District.
PROPOSAL TO RAISE A LOAN OF £450.
I, DAVID BETHUNE, Chairman of the Mangare Rabbit-proof Fencing District, hereby declare that, at the unanimous request of the ratepayers, the formal poll in connection with the raising of the above loan has been dispensed with.
The total number of ratepayers is three, and the total number of votes is five.
I hereby declare the proposal to be carried.

Incorporated Societies Act, 1908.—Declaration by the Assistant Registrar dissolving a Society.
I, JOHN MORRISON, Assistant Registrar of Incorporated Societies, do hereby declare that, as it has been made to appear to me that the Canterbury Motor Transport Association (Incorporated) is no longer carrying on its operations, the aforesaid society is hereby dissolved in pursuance of section 28 of the Incorporated Societies Act, 1908.

Extending Time for holding Election of Trustees for Buckley Drainage District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 22nd day of March, 1927.

THE HONOURABLE W. DOWNIE STEWART PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section ten of the Land Drainage Act, 1908, it is provided that on the first Monday in the month of November in the year following the year in which the first Trustees for any drainage district are elected, and on the same day in each succeeding third year thereafter, an election of Trustees for each district shall be held :
And whereas an election of Trustees for the Buckley Drainage District should have been held on the first day of November, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six :
And whereas it is expedient to extend the time for holding such election of Trustees for the Buckley Drainage District :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by section twenty-two of the Land Drainage Amendment Act, 1922, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion; doth hereby extend the time for holding the aforesaid election of Trustees for the Buckley Drainage District ; and doth hereby order and declare that in the aforesaid drainage district the said election shall be held and take place on Thursday, the twenty-first day of April, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven.

Extension of Time for Preparation of District Electors’ Roll, Borough of Onehunga.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 22nd day of March, 1927.

THE HONOURABLE W. DOWNIE STEWART PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS it is provided by section thirteen of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, that the district electors’ roll of the Borough of Onehunga shall be deemed to be closed at five o’clock in the afternoon of the twenty-eighth day preceding the day appointed for the general election of Mayor and Councillors of the Borough—namely, the twenty-seventh day of April, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven :
And whereas it is expedient to extend such time :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby extend the time of closing the said district electors’ roll of the said borough, and doth hereby declare that the said roll shall be deemed to be closed at five o’clock in the afternoon of the thirteenth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven.
