RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Eastbourne Borough Council hereby resolves as follows :—

That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £8,000, authorized to be raised by the Eastbourne Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, in order to establish, maintain, and regulate a motor-omnibus service for the conveyance of passengers and goods within the Borough of Eastbourne and between Wellington and Eastbourne, and Eastbourne and Wellington, and to purchase from Messrs. Sievers and Bosher, Motor-bus Proprietors, of Eastbourne, their eight buses with necessary tools, equipment, and stocks—
