Situated within easy distance from the railway and school, these sections are very suitable for temporary paddocks or cottage-sites by the outlying settlers. The formation is papa, on easy slopes, partly covered with manuka and scrub.

Notifying Lands in Taranaki Land District for Sale by Public Auction for Cash or on Deferred Payments.

I N pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section one hundred and thirty-two of the Land Act, 1924, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint Friday, the twenty-fifth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven, as the time at which the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be sold by public auction for cash or on deferred payments; and I hereby fix the prices at which the said lands shall be sold as those mentioned in the said Schedule hereto.

These sections originally comprised the old railway reserve running between Te Roti and Opunake. They comprise for the most part flat land of very good quality. An opportunity is here afforded the adjoining owners to acquire the areas so that a satisfactory fencing-boundary with adjoining lands may be fixed.

Trustees for the Riwaka Public Cemetery appointed.

CHARLES FERGUSSON, Governor-General.

I N pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by section four of the Cemeteries Act, 1908, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke a certain Warrant dated the seventeenth day of February, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-three, appointing trustees for the Riwaka Public Cemetery, and in lieu thereof do hereby appoint

Ralph Bate,
Arthur Lancelot Cook,
Alexander Drummond,
David Leslie Alfred Thomas Drummond, and
Frederick Grant Duncan Drummond

to be trustees to have the maintenance and care of the said cemetery as described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

RIWAKA PUBLIC CEMETERY.

ALL that area in the Nelson Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 0 roods 9 perches, more or less, being part of Section 64, Square 9, District of Riwaka. Bounded as follows: On the northward, 846 links, by a school reserve; on the eastward, 125 links, and on the southward, 846 links, by other part of Section 64; and on the westward, 125 links, by a public road.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 8th day of December, 1926.
