which the license is granted, the licensee shall, if required by
the Minister so to do, remove the said store entirely from
the site and restore the site to its original condition within
three months from the date of revocation or expiry, as the
case may be; and, if the licensee fails so to do, the Minister
may cause the said store to be removed and the site so
restored, and may recover the costs incurred by the said
removal and restoration from the licensee.
- The construction of the store shall be deemed to be
an acceptance by the licensee of the conditions of this Order
in Council.

Prescribing the Term for which the Wairarapa South County
Council may borrow the Sum of £9,000, authorized to be
raised for constructing a Portion of the Wellington–Napier
Highway.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 6th day
of December, 1926.

THE HONOURABLE W. DOWNIE STEWART PRESIDING IN
COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section one hundred and fourteen of the
Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, it is provided that,
notwithstanding anything to the contrary in any Act or in any
rule of law, where a local authority or public body has been
authorized before the passing of the said Act, or is thereafter
authorized, to borrow money, whether pursuant to a poll of
ratepayers or otherwise howsoever, whether the rate of interest
or the term of years of the loan was or was not specified or
determined, and such money or any part thereof has not
been borrowed, the local authority or public body may, with
the precedent consent of the Minister of Finance, borrow such
money, or such amount thereof as has not been borrowed, at
such rate of interest, or for such term, as may be prescribed
by the Governor-General by Order in Council:
And whereas the Wairarapa South County Council has
been authorized to borrow the sum of nine thousand pounds
for constructing a portion of the Wellington–Napier Highway:
And whereas the Minister of Finance has given his precedent
consent as required by the above-recited section one hundred
and fourteen, and it is desired that the term for which the
said nine thousand pounds may be borrowed be twenty
years:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise
of the power and authority vested in him as aforesaid, and
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby prescribe that
the term for which the Wairarapa South County Council
may borrow the said sum of nine thousand pounds shall be
twenty years, and the said Wairarapa South County Council
is hereby authorized to borrow the said sum of nine thousand
pounds accordingly.

may borrow the Sum of £700, authorized to be raised for
providing Relief Works for Unemployed, and also the Rate
of Interest payable thereon.

exceeding six per centum per annum:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of
the power and authority vested in him as aforesaid, and
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby prescribe that
the term for which the Hamilton Borough Council may borrow
the said sum of seven hundred pounds shall be not exceeding
thirty-six and a half years, and the rate of interest that
may be paid thereon shall be a rate not exceeding six per
centum per annum, and the said Hamilton Borough Council
is hereby authorized to borrow the said sum of seven hundred
pounds accordingly.

Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby prescribe that
the term for which the Wairarapa South County Council
may borrow the said sum of two thousand four hundred
pounds shall be twenty years, and the said Wairarapa South
County Council is hereby authorized to borrow the said sum
of two thousand four hundred pounds accordingly.

Board may borrow the Sum of £62,000, authorized to be raised
for the Conversion of an outstanding Loan known as the Te
Awamutu Electric-power Board Loan (1921) of £62,000, and
also the Rate of Interest payable thereon.
