Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the Te Awamutu Electric-power Board raising the sum of three thousand pounds upon terms of making the same, together with interest thereon, repayable by instalments extending over a period of thirty-six and a half years, and the said Te Awamutu Electric-power Board is hereby authorized to borrow the said sum of three thousand pounds on these terms.

Consenting to the Raising of Loans by certain Local Authorities.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 29th day of November, 1926.

THE HONOURABLE W. DOWNIE STEWART PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS application has been made under section twenty, subsection one, of the Finance Act, 1919, for the precedent consent of the Governor-General in Council to enable the several local authorities mentioned in the Schedule hereto to borrow the sums set out therein, and it is expedient that such consent should issue:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the raising of the loans hereinafter mentioned by the several local authorities set out in the Schedule hereto, and it is hereby declared that this Order in Council is made under the provisions in that behalf of the Finance Act, 1919, and shall operate accordingly as a consent of the Governor-General in Council to the raising of the said loans.

THE HONOURABLE W. DOWNIE STEWART PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by section three of the Public Reserves and Domains Amendment Act, 1925, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby direct that from the moneys received in respect of that portion of the Ormond Domain described in the First Schedule hereto and at the date hereof lying to the credit of the said portion a sum not exceeding eighty pounds shall be applied in managing, administering, and improving the Gray’s Bush Domain described in the Second Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
GISBORNE LAND DISTRICT.—PART OF ORMOND DOMAIN.
ALL that area in Block I, Waimata Survey District, containing by admeasurement 107 acres 1 rood 5 perches, more or less, being the section marked “Bush reserve,” and being the land referred to in the Order in Council dated 1st August, 1910, and published in Gazette No. 75, of the 4th of that month, page 3115.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
GISBORNE LAND DISTRICT.—GRAY’S BUSH DOMAIN.
SECTION 2, Block XIV, Waimata Survey District, containing an area of 30 acres, more or less, and being all the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 77, folio 17, Gisborne Registry.

Revoking an Order in Council declaring a Portion of a Main Highway in the No. 16 Highway District, Maniototo County, to be a Government Road.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the Order in Council dated 6th May, 1926, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 30, of 13th May, 1926, declaring that portion of the Palmerston—Queenstown, via Becks, Main Highway, between Shag River and the boundary between Sections 13 and 19, Block IV, Swinburn Survey District, to be a Government road.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by section three of the Main Highways Act, 1922, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth, from the date of gazetting of this Order in Council, hereby revoke the Order in Council dated the ninth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-four, published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 40, of the twelfth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-four, declaring public highways in the No. 18 Highways District to be main highways in so far as affects the Mataura—Winton Road as described in the Schedule thereto.
