Taringatura Survey District; thence along a right line to
the north-western corner of that section; thence southerly
along the western boundaries of Sections 162A, 154A, 162c,
and 188 to the south-western corner of the last-mentioned
section; thence due west to a point in line with the eastern
boundary of Section 119, Taringatura Survey District; thence
to and along that boundary and the eastern boundary of
Sections 245, 244, 243, 242, 241, 240, 239, and 238 to the
south-eastern corner of the last-mentioned section; thence
along the southern boundary of Sections 238 and 237, Taringa-
tura Survey District, to the road forming the north-eastern
boundary of Section 53, Taringatura Survey District; thence
to and along that road to the south-eastern corner of Part
Section 62, Oreti Hundred; thence south-westerly and
westerly along the road forming the south-eastern and
southern boundaries of part Section 62, Oreti Hundred,
to the road forming the western boundary of part
Section 62, Oreti Hundred; thence south-easterly and
south-westerly along that road to the south-eastern
corner of Section 51, Oreti Hundred; thence westerly
along the southern boundaries of Sections 51 and 61,
Oreti Hundred, to the north-western corner of Section 44;
thence southerly along the road forming the western boundary
of the said Section 44, Oreti Hundred, and its production to
the north-eastern corner of Section 183, Oreti Hundred;
thence westerly and southerly along the road forming the
northern and western boundaries of the said Section 183 to
the road forming the southern boundary of the said section;
thence westerly along that road to its intersection with the
Waimatuku Stream; thence north-westerly, south-easterly,

northern boundaries of Jacobs River Hundred to the eastern
boundary of the Tuatapere District (hereinbefore described);
and thence northerly along that boundary to the source of
Redcliff Creek, the place of commencement.

OREPUKI DISTRICT.

All that area in the Southland Land District bounded on
the north by the Tuatapere District (hereinbefore described)
from the sea to the eastern boundary of the Longwood Survey
District; thence along a right line from the south-eastern
corner of the said Tuatapere District to the source of the
Ourawera Stream; thence down the middle of that stream
to the sea; thence north-westerly generally by the sea to the
northern boundary of the Tuatapere District (hereinbefore
described), the place of commencement.

And I hereby declare that this Proclamation shall come
into operation on the first day of December, in the year
of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion this 13th day of
November, 1926.

Districts constituted under the Births and Deaths Registration
Act, 1924.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority
vested in the Governor-General by the Births and
Deaths Registration Act, 1924, I, General Sir Charles Fer-
gusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, do hereby abolish the existing registration districts
known as the Wakatipu, Otatau, and Orepuki Districts, and
do proclaim and declare that the territory heretofore com-
prised within the said districts is hereby divided anew into
four registration districts, the names whereof shall be the
Tuatapere, Wakatipu, Otatau, and Orepuki Districts, and
the boundaries whereof shall be coterminous with the bound-
aries of the marriage districts bearing the same names as are
set forth in a Proclamation of even date herewith made under
the provisions of the Marriage Act, 1908.

And I hereby declare that this Proclamation shall come
into operation on the first day of December, in the year of
our Lord one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 13th day of
November, 1926.

Revocation of the Reservations of Permanent State Forests.

A PROCLAMATION.

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by the Forests Act, 1921-22, and
pursuant to a resolution in that behalf passed by both Houses
of Parliament, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
revoke the reservation as a permanent State forest of the
Crown lands described in the Schedule hereto (which reserva-
tion was effected as regards part of the said lands by section one
hundred and six of the Reserves and other Lands Disposal and
Public Bodies Empowering Act, 1921-22, and as regards other
part thereof by Proclamation of the twenty-fourth day of
March, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-four, published
in the New Zealand Gazette on the third day of April, one thou-
sand nine hundred and twenty-four, at page 802), and do
hereby revoke the said Proclamation (so far only as it relates
to any part of the Crown lands described in the Schedule
hereto) accordingly, and do hereby declare that the reserva-
tions thereby respectively effected are (so far only as aforesaid)
revoked accordingly.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing
by admeasurement 22 acres 2 roods 26 perches, more or less,
being portions of Reserves Nos. 3782 and 3927, situated in
Block II, Lyndon Survey District. Bounded by a line com-
mencing at the north-eastern corner of Section 7, Block II,
Lyndon Survey District, thence southerly along the eastern
boundary of the said Section 7 and its production to the
northern side of Jollies Pass Road; thence south-westerly
along the northern and north-western side of that road to its
intersection with the road forming the western boundary of
Section 6, Block II aforesaid; thence northerly along that
road to the south-western corner of the said Section 6; thence
north-easterly along the south-eastern boundaries of Sections
6 and 8, Block II aforesaid, to the south-eastern corner of the
said Section 8; thence northerly along the western boundary
of Section 7 aforesaid to its north-western corner, and thence
easterly along its northern boundary to the point of com-
mencement: Save and excepting all right-of-ways included
within the above-described boundaries. As the same is more
particularly delineated on plan No. 129/15, deposited in the
Head Office, State Forest Service, Wellington, and thereon
bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion this 12th day of November, 1926.

Revoking the Setting-apart of Land for Selection by Discharged
Soldiers under Special Tenures, in the Wellington Land
District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by the Discharged Soldiers Settle-
ment Act, 1915, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
revoke the Proclamation made on the twenty-first day of
June, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, and pub-
lished in the Gazette of the twenty-sixth day of June then
instant, setting apart settlement lands for selection by dis-
charged soldiers, under the Discharged Soldiers Settlement
Act, 1915, in so far as it relates to the land in the Schedule
hereto.

SCHEDULE.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.โ€”SETTLEMENT LAND.

Section 103, Waddington Settlement: Area, 7 acres 3 roods
36 perches.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 10th day of
November, 1926.
