Land taken for the Purposes of a Road in Block VIII,
Whakatane Survey District, Whakatane County.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of
every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in
this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule
hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a road; and I
do also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take
effect on and after the twenty-eighth day of October, one
thousand nine hundred and twenty-six.

deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon
coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 4th day of
October, 1926.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section
twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, General Sir Charles
Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, do hereby proclaim as closed the road in Arapawa
Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed: 24 perches.
Adjoining or passing through Sections 9 and 13, situated in
Block I, Arapawa Survey District (Marlborough R.D.).
In the Marlborough Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 66611,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon
coloured green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 6th day of
October, 1926.

tion twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, General Sir Charles
Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of
New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road the land in
Komakorau Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.

this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Go-
vernor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
proclaim as stopped the Government roads described in the
Schedule hereto, such roads being no longer required.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 8th day

COUNCIL.
WHEREAS application has been made under section
twenty, subsection one, of the Finance Act, 1919,
for the precedent consent of the Governor-General in Council
to enable the several local authorities mentioned in the
Schedule hereto to borrow the sums set out therein, and it is
expedient that such consent should issue:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doth hereby consent to the raising of the loans hereinafter
