Land subject to the Hutt Valley Lands Settlement Act, 1925.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section three of the Hutt Valley Lands Settlement Act, 1925 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that from and after the day of the date hereof the land described in the Schedule hereto, being land in the Hutt Valley heretofore acquired by the Crown under the Land for Settlements Act, 1925, shall be subject to the provisions of the said Act.

SCHEDULE.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.

ALL that area in the Borough of Lower Hutt, situated in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 42 acres 0 roods 37 perches, more or less, being part Sections 15, 76, and 77, Hutt Registration District, Block XIV, Belmont Survey District, bounded by a line commencing at the northernmost corner of Lot 1 on plan No. 7217 deposited on the office of the District Land Registrar at Wellington, and proceeding in a south-easterly direction along the north-eastern boundary-line of the said Lot 1 to its intersection with the western side of Gracefield Road; thence towards the south generally along the said western side of Gracefield Road to the north-eastern side of Park Road; thence towards the north-west along the said side of Park Road, to its intersection with the southern boundary of Lot 1 on plan No. 7387, deposited as aforesaid; thence along the southern, eastern, and northern boundary-lines of the said Lot 1 to its northernmost corner; thence along the eastern boundary-line of Lot 6 on plan No. 3770, deposited as aforesaid, to the north-eastern side of Park Road; thence towards the north-west along the said side of Park Road to the south-western corner of Lot 5 on the aforesaid plan No. 3770; thence towards the north-east along the north-western boundary-line of the said Lot 5 to the western boundary of Lot 1 on plan No. 7217 aforesaid; and thence towards the north generally along the western boundary of the said Lot 1 to its northernmost corner, the place of commencement.

Also all that area in the Borough of Lower Hutt, situated in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 63 acres 3 roods 18 perches, more or less, being part Sections 15 and 77, Hutt Registration District, Block XIV, Belmont Survey District, bounded by a line commencing at the junction of the south-western side of Park Road with the western side of Gracefield Road and proceeding in a south-westerly direction along the western side of Gracefield Road to the north-eastern corner of Lot 69 on plan No. 4259, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Wellington; thence towards the west along the northern boundary of the said Lot 69 to the eastern boundary of Lot 2 on plan No. 7217, deposited as aforesaid; thence by the eastern, southern, and western boundaries of the said Lot 2 to the north-westernmost corner thereof; thence towards the north and east generally by the western and northern boundary-lines of Lot 3 on plan No. 37, deposited as aforesaid, to the intersection of the said northern boundary of Lot 3 with the south-western side of Park Road; thence towards the south-east along the said side of Park Road, for a distance of 747·54 links; thence towards the south-west by a line bearing 203° 22′, for a distance of 106·14 links bearing to the northern boundary of Lot 11 on plan No. 3770, deposited as aforesaid; thence towards the west along the northern boundary of the said Lot 11 and the northern boundary of Lot 2 on plan No. 7387, deposited as aforesaid, to the northernmost corner of the said Lot 2; thence towards the south and east by the western and southern boundaries of the said Lot 2 to its south-eastern corner; again towards the east and then towards the north-east by the southern and eastern boundaries of part Section 15, Hutt Registration District, shown on plan No. 4310, deposited as aforesaid, to the south-western side of Park Road; thence again towards the south-east by the south-western side of Park Road to its intersection with the western side of Gracefield Road, the place of commencement.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 5th day of October, 1926.

Settlement Lands set apart for Disposal by way of Sale or Lease to Discharged Soldiers, under Special Tenures, in the Auckland Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by section four of the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the area of settlement lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same are hereby set apart and declared open for disposal by way of sale or lease to discharged soldiers, under special tenures, in the manner provided in the said Act.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—SETTLEMENT LAND.

SECTIONS 50s, 51s, 52s, 53s, 54s, 55s, and 56s, Te Miro Settlement: Area, 34 acres 3 roods 34 perches.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 9th day of October, 1926.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, the Government Railways Act, 1926, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.

Situated in Block II, Otahuhu, and Block IX, Rangitoto Survey Districts, Tamaki Road District. (S.O. 23831, blue.) In the North Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked W.R. 38421, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured red and blue.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 7th day of October, 1926.

Allocating to the Purposes of a Road Land in Block VIII, Whakatane Survey District, taken for a Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land which is described in the Schedule hereto (and which was taken for a further portion of the East Coast Main Trunk Railway (Taneatua Section), and which is no longer required for such purposes) shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become a road; and that the said road shall be maintained by the Whakatane County Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.
