IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of
every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this
behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim
and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto
is hereby taken for the purposes of the disposal of refuse,
rubbish, and nightsoil, and shall vest in the Manurewa Town
Board as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do
also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and
after the eleventh day of October, one thousand nine hundred
and twenty-six.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken : 4 acres 1 rood
28 perches.

Being Lot 4 on D.P. 12046, and being portion of Takaanini's
Grant.

Situated in Block XIV, Otahuhu Survey District (Auck-
land R.D.). (S.O. 23809.)

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is
more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D.

Authorizing the Wellington City Council to erect a Tablet in
the Offices of the Council as a Permanent War Memorial.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 20th day of
September, 1926.

Present :

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority
conferred upon him by section fifteen of the Finance
Act, 1919 (hereinafter referred to as the “said section”)
His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of
New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of
the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby
approve the provision by the Wellington City Council of
a tablet as a permanent war memorial, as provided by the
said section; and, with the like advice and consent, doth
hereby approve of the erection of such tablet in the offices
of the City Council, Wellington.

erect Electric Lines within Portion of the Rawene Town
District.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on him
by the Public Works Amendment Act, 1923, and of
every other power enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency
the Governor - General of the Dominion of New Zealand,
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby amend the Order
in Council dated the twentieth day of April, one thousand
nine hundred and twenty-six, and published in the New
Zealand Gazette No. 26, of the twenty-ninth day of April,
one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six, authorizing
Paul Spender, of Rawene, Garage-proprietor, to erect electric
lines in portion of the Rawene Town District by including
in the area of supply described in clause one of the Schedule to
the said Order in Council the area described in the Schedule
hereto.

SCHEDULE.

EXTENDED AREA OF SUPPLY.

THE extended area of supply comprises portion of the Rawene
Town District, North Auckland Land District. As the same
is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D.
66781, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works
at Wellington, in the Land District of Wellington, and
thereon edged green.

Amending Regulations for Trout and Perch Fishing in the
East Coast Acclimatization District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 20th day of
September, 1926.

Present :

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the seventh day
of December, one thousand nine hundred and four-
teen, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 133, of the
tenth day of the same month, regulations were made for trout
and perch fishing in the East Coast Acclimatization District
and waters thereof :

And whereas it is desirable to amend such regulations in
the manner hereinafter described :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the
power and authority conferred upon him by section eighty-
three of the Fisheries Act, 1908, and of all other powers and
authorities enabling him in that behalf, and acting by and
with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the
said Dominion, doth hereby revoke clause one of the herein-
before-recited regulations, and doth hereby make and substi-
tute the following regulation.

REGULATION.

  1. LICENSES are issued subject to the general regulations made
    by the Governor-General in Council, and for the time being
