At the Government House at Wellington, this 30th day of
August, 1926.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the
Public Works Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution
passed by the Mount Eden Borough Council on the second
day of August, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six,
viz. :
“ The Mount Eden Borough Council, being the local
body having control of Hillside Crescent, hereby resolves
that the portion of the street running north-west and south-
east be exempted from the provisions of section one hundred
and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908 ” ;
such portion of street being described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that portion of street situated in the North Auckland Land
District, Borough of Mount Eden, known as Hillside Crescent,
commencing at its junction with the main entrance to the
Mount Eden Domain and proceeding thence in a south-
easterly direction to the boundary of the said Mount Eden
Domain, adjoining parts Lots 56 and 55 of Section 10, Suburbs
of Auckland. As the said portion of street is more particularly
delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 62244, deposited in
the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the
Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

The North-western Side of Whittaker Street, in the City of
Wellington, exempted from the Provisions of Section 117 of
the Public Works Act, 1908, subject to a Condition as to the
Building-line.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 30th day of
August, 1926.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the
Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in any-
wise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution
passed by the Wellington City Council on the nineteenth day
of March, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-five,
viz. :
“ The Wellington City Council, being the local authority
having control of the streets in the City of Wellington,
hereby declares that the provisions of section one hundred
and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, shall not
apply to the north-western side of all that portion of
Whittaker Street, beginning at its junction with Ghuznee
Street and extending for its entire length, a distance of
approximately 418·5 links, being part of road fronting
part Town Section 165, City of Wellington ” ;
subject to the condition that no building or part of a building
shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the north-
western side of Whittaker Street (described in the Schedule
hereto), within a distance of twenty feet from the centre-line
of the said street.
SCHEDULE.
THE north-western side of all that street, situated in the
Wellington Land District, City of Wellington, known as
Whittaker Street, fronting part Town Section 165, City of
Wellington. As the said portion of street is more particularly
delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 62362, deposited in
the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in
the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

The Northern Side of an Unnamed Street off Quadrant Road,
in the Borough of Onehunga, exempted from the Provisions
of Section 117 of the Public Works Act, 1908, subject to a
Condition as to the Building-line.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 30th day of
August, 1926.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the
Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in any-

of February, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six,

“ That the Onehunga Borough Council, having control
of a certain unnamed street bounded on the south by
Jellicoe Park, on the north by Allotment 12, Section 36,
Town of Onehunga, on the west by Quadrant Road, in the
Borough of Onehunga, and on the east by Allotment 13,
by resolution hereby declares that the provisions of sec-
tion one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act,
1908, shall not apply to the said street ” ;
in so far as it affects the portion of street described in the
Schedule hereto, subject to the condition that no building
or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land
fronting the northern side of the said street (described in the
Schedule hereto), within a distance of thirty-three feet from
the centre-line of the said street.
SCHEDULE.
THE northern side of that unnamed street off Quadrant Road,
situated on the North Auckland Land District, Borough of
Onehunga, adjoining Lots 2, 3, and 4 of a subdivision of parts
Allotments 3 and 12, and also other part of the said Allot-
ment 12, of Section 36, Village of Onehunga; as the same is
more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D.
65546, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works
at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon
coloured red.

Council and prescribing Dues for its Use.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 30th day of
August, 1926.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the fifteenth day
of March, one thousand nine hundred and five, and
published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 27, of the twenty-
third day of the same month, the management of the Mangonui
Wharf, at Mangonui, erected in accordance with the plans
marked M.D. 862, 1811, 1812, and 4078, and deposited in the
office of the Marine Department at Wellington, was vested
in the Mangonui County Council, and dues and rates were
prescribed for the use of the said wharf :
And whereas the said Mangonui County Council (hereinafter
called “ the Council,” in which term is to be construed, unless
the context requires a different construction, its successors or
assigns) has applied for a fresh license under the Harbours
