Bounded on all sides by a public road by right lines commencing at the north-westernmost corner of the said section, thence to the north, 41·8 links; towards the north-east, 69·2 links; towards the east, 40·6 links; towards the south, 59·3 links; towards the south-west, 46·6 links; and towards the west, 56·6 links, to the commencing-point. As the same is also delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 63796, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured green.

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by section three of the Deteriorated Lands Act, 1925, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be subject to the provisions of the Deteriorated Lands Act, 1925.


SCHEDULE.

TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT.

SECTION 15, Block IX, Opaku Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by subsection nine of section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that from and after the date hereof the land comprised in the piece of closed road described in the First Schedule hereto, being land adjoining that portion of the Tahoma Domain described in the Second Schedule hereto, shall be deemed to be added to the said Tahoma Domain.


FIRST SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Taranaki Land District containing by admeasurement 9·C7 perches, more or less, being Section 65, Tahoma Township, and being the piece of road closed by Proclamation published in Gazette of the 25th February, 1926, page 458.


SECOND SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Taranaki Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 3 roods 27·6 perches, more or less, being Sections 44, 45, 46, 47, and 48, Tahoma Township, Block VI, Pouatu Survey District.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 30th day of August, 1926.

Land set apart as Provisional State Forest declared to be subject to the Land Act, 1924.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section twenty of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting on the recommendation of the Minister of Lands, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being portion of a provisional State forest set apart by Proclamation dated the sixteenth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, and gazetted on the twenty-fifth day of that month, is required for settlement purposes; and, in accordance with the provisions of the said Act, such land shall, from and after the day of the gazetting hereof, cease to be provisional State forest, and shall become subject to the provisions of the Land Act, 1924.


SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Taranaki Land District, containing by admeasurement 189 acres 2 roods, more or less, being Sub. 1 of Section 3, Block X, Waro Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east by Section 5, Block X, Waro Survey District, 2955·2 links; towards the south-east by part of Section 3, Block X, Waro Survey District, 9084·7 links; towards the south-west by Section 2, Block X aforesaid, 6020·5 links; and towards the north-west by Sections 1 and 4, Block X aforesaid, 4935·8 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. X/94/10, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered pink.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 30th day of August, 1926.

Land reserved under the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the Scenery Preservation Board, constituted pursuant to the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), has recommended that the land described in the Schedule hereto should be permanently reserved for scenic purposes, and it is expedient to give effect to such recommendation:

Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be a scenic reserve under the said Act, and subject to the provisions thereof.


SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 19 acres 2 roods 39·7 perches, more or less, being portion of Allotments M 41 and N.M. 41, Hikurangi Parish: as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 4/162, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (North Auckland plan 23363.)

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 30th day of August, 1926.
