HIS Excellency the Governor-General has, in pursuance of section 4 of the Cemeteries Act, 1908, been pleased to appoint
Charles Hansen
to be a trustee in place of John Albert Patrick McBride, resigned, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Frankton Public Cemetery.
Mark Dalton Vickers
to be a trustee, in place of the Rev. Douglas Blomfield Malcolm, left the district, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Porirua Public Cemetery.
Edward Laurence Lye,
to be a trustee, in place of John Elvins Lye, resigned, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Tikorangi Public Cemetery.
William Henry Topp
to be a trustee, in place of Arthur Herbert Coates, resigned, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Piopio Public Cemetery.
Rev. Alfred Drake and
Rev. Charles Strand
to be trustees, in place of Patrick Cotter and Robert Bradford Webber, resigned, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Te Kuiti Public Cemetery.

to be trustees, in place of David Ballintyne, resigned, and Louis William Kerr, deceased, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Miller’s Flat Public Cemetery.

Appointments, Promotions, Resignations, and Transfers of Officers of the N.Z. Military Forces.

HIS Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to approve of the appointments, promotions, resignations, and transfers of the undermentioned officers of the N.Z. Military Forces :—
COMMANDS.
Colonel H. Stewart, C.M.G., D.S.O., M.C., relinquishes command of the 3rd N.Z. Infantry Brigade, and is posted to the Retired List under the provisions of G.O. 184/21, with permission to retain his rank and wear the prescribed uniform. Dated 31st July, 1926.
Lieut.-Colonel J. Hargest, D.S.O., M.C., from the Reserve of Officers, to be Colonel, and is appointed to command the 3rd N.Z. Infantry Brigade. Dated 1st August, 1926.
Captain J. M. Craig is appointed to command the 13th Coast Battery Regiment of N.Z. Artillery. Dated 13th November, 1925.
