A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by
section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, General Sir
Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion
of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road the land in
the Otahuhu Survey District described in the Schedule
hereto.

Amending Regulations as to Ships being provided with Wireless-
telegraph Installations.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 12th day of
January, 1926.

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE J. G. COATES, P.C., PRESIDING IN
COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the twenty-fourth
day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-
five, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 49, of the
following day, regulations were made as to ships being provided with wireless-telegraph installations :
And whereas it is desirable to amend the said regulations
in the manner hereinafter described :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of
the power and authority conferred upon him by section two
of the Shipping and Seamen Amendment Act, 1924, and of
all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf,
and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby amend clause
ten of the hereinbefore-recited regulations by striking out
the words “ one year’s ” in paragraphs (b) and (c) of subsection
one thereof, and substituting therefor the words “ six months ”
in each case ; and doth hereby further order and declare that
this amendment shall come into force as from the first day
of January, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six,
inclusive.

Revoking the Prohibition of the Importation of Wheat, Wheat-
flour, Wheat-meal, and Ground Wheat. (C. No. 39).

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 27th day of
January, 1926.

COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon him by section forty-six of the Customs
Act, 1913, and of all other powers and authorities enabling
him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth
hereby revoke the Order in Council made on the twenty-first
day of December, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-five,
and gazetted on the twenty-third day of December then
instant, which prohibited to the extent specified therein the
importation of wheat, wheat-flour, wheat-meal, and ground
wheat.

Borough Council in respect of a Loan of £500 authorized to be
raised for the Purpose of completing the Purchase of Land and
Erection of Abattoirs.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 18th day of
January, 1926.

His EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section eleven of the Finance Act, 1921,
and its amendments, it is provided that, notwith-
standing anything to the contrary in any Act or in any rule
of law, where a local authority or public body has been autho-
rized before the passing of the said Act, or is thereafter autho-
rized, to borrow money, whether pursuant to a poll of rate-
payers or otherwise howsoever, whether the rate of interest
or the term of years of the loan was or was not specified or
determined, and such money or any part thereof has not
been borrowed, the local authority may, with the precedent
consent of the Minister of Finance, borrow such money, or
such amount thereof as has not been borrowed, at such rate
of interest, or for such term, as may be prescribed by the
Governor-General by Order in Council :
And whereas the Taihape Borough Council has been authorized to borrow the sum of five thousand pounds for the purchase of land and erection of abattoirs, and is now desirous of borrowing an additional sum of five hundred pounds under the authority of section eighteen of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, for the purpose of completing the undertaking:
