At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 7th day of December, 1925.

THE HONOURABLE J. G. COATES PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on him by the Births and Deaths Registration Act, 1924 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of that Dominion, doth hereby make for the purposes of section forty-six of the said Act the regulations hereinafter set forth.

REGULATIONS.
CERTIFICATES OF BIRTH AND DEATH FOR POST OFFICE SAVINGS-BANK PURPOSES.

THE fee for a certificate of birth or for a certificate of death required for the purposes of the Post Office Savings-bank shall be 1s.

Every such certificate shall be in such one of the forms set forth in the Schedule hereto as the case may require.

CERTIFICATE OF BIRTH FOR POST OFFICE SAVINGS-BANK PURPOSES.
(To be retained by the Controller.)
I HEREBY certify that, according to the record of the birth in my office, was born at on the day of , 192 , and that his [her] parents were and , formerly .
Registrar-General [or Registrar of Births and Deaths for the District of ].

(The fee for this certificate is 1s.)
NOTE.—This certificate is issued for Post Office Savings-bank purposes only, and is not available for any other purpose (see section 46 (2) of the Births and Deaths Registration Act, 1924).

Revoking Portion of an Order in Council declaring Highways to be Main Highways in the No. 4 Highway District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 18th day of January, 1926.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by subsection three of section three of the Main Highways Act, 1922, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth, from the date of gazetting of this Order in Council, hereby revoke the Order in Council dated the ninth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-four, published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 40, of the twelfth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-four, declaring the Rotokautuku Bridge–Tikitiki Highway (via right bank, Waiapu River) to be a main highway in so far as it affects the portion of such highway set out in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.
ROTOKAUTUKU Bridge–Tikitiki Main Highway (via right bank, Waiapu River): All that portion of the Rotokautuku Bridge–Tikitiki Main Highway (via right bank, Waiapu River), commencing at its junction with the Gisborne–Opotiki (via the Coast) Main Highway near the southern end of the Rotokautuku Bridge, and proceeding thence generally in a north-easterly direction along the right bank of the Waiapu River, and terminating at the Ruatorea Hotel, passing through the County of Waiapu; being a distance of 94 chains, more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 64907, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

Declaring a Portion of a Public Highway in Highway District, No. 12, Westland County, to be a Government Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 18th day of January, 1926.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that on and after the date of gazetting of this Order in Council the land described in the Schedule hereto, being a portion of the public highway known as Kumara–Arthur’s Pass Road, shall become a Government Road.

SCHEDULE.
ALL that area of land, containing 1 rood 28 perches, being portion of the Kumara–Arthur’s Pass Road, and being portion of Section 3166, situated in Block VII, Otira Survey District (Westland R.D.). (S.O. 2451.)
In the Westland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 63080, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured yellow.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 18th day of January, 1926.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by section three of the Main Highways Act, 1922, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that on and after the date of gazetting of this Order in Council the land described in the Schedule hereto, being a portion of the public highway known as Kumara–Arthur’s Pass Road, shall be a Main Highway within the meaning and for the purpose of the Main Highways Act, 1922.
