Sections 9 and 8 and along the eastern side of the rabbit-fence reserve to the Wellington Land District, and westerly along the northern boundary of that district to a point in the middle of the Manawatu River; thence westerly along the middle of that river to a point opposite the south-eastern corner of Section 2, Subdivision X, of the Manchester Block ; thence northerly along the eastern boundary of that subdivision to the north-western corner of Section 3, Block II, Gorge Survey District; thence to and along the middle of the road forming the north-eastern boundary of the said Section 3, to a point in line with the western boundary of Section 2, Block II aforesaid; thence to and along the western, northern, and eastern boundaries of that section to its intersection with the western boundary of Section 6, Block II aforesaid; thence north-easterly along the western boundaries of Section 6, Block II aforesaid, Sections 4, 3, 1, and 6, Block VII, Gorge Survey District, to the north-western corner of the last-mentioned section; thence south-easterly along the northern boundary of that secton to Whariti Trig. Station; and thence northerly along the summit of the Ruahine Range to Trig. Station 85, the point of commencement: and excluding therefrom the Borough of Woodville:
DANNEVIRKE COUNTY.
All that area in the Hawke's Bay Land District bounded by a line commencing at a point on the summit of the Ruahine Range due west of the source of the Makaretu River; thence by a right line to the source of the Marekutu River; thence by a line down the middle of the Makaretu River to a point due north of the junction of the main Norsewood-Takapau Road with the old Norsewood-Takapau Road ; thence by a line running due south to that junction; thence by the main Norsewood-Takapau Road to the Manawatu River, and by a line down the middle of the said Manawatu River to its confluence with the Waikopiro Stream; thence by a line up the middle of the Waikopiro and Mangapurakau Streams to the southern boundary of Block 83, and by that boundary to the Whatatuna Stream; thence down the middle of the said Whatatuna Stream and up the middle of the stream forming the south-eastern boundary of Sections 17 and 13, Block XV, Takapau Survey District, to the south-eastern corner of the last-mentioned section; thence along the eastern boundary of Section 14, Block XV aforesaid, to Whangai Stream; and down the middle of that stream to its junction with the Mangapuaka Stream; thence up the middle of the said Mangapuaka Stream to its intersection by a right line running through Trig. Station 27 to Trig. Station 12 at the south-eastern corner of Mangangarara No. 3; thence to and along that line to the said Trig. Station 12; thence south-easterly and south-westerly along the north-eastern and south-eastern boundaries of Section 3, Block VIII, Mangatoro Survey District, to the Te Uri Road; thence across the Te Uri Road and along the eastern boundary of S.G.R. 74, Block XII, Mangatoro Survey District, to its south-eastern corner; thence westerly along the southern boundaries S.G.R.s 74 and 73, Block XII aforesaid, to the western boundary of the last-mentioned run; thence southerly along the eastern boundaries of Section 1, Block XI, Mangatoro Survey District, and Sections 2 and 1, Block XV, Mangatoro Survey District; thence generally westerly along the southern boundaries of Sections 1 and 3, Block XV aforesaid, Sections 4 and 2, Block XIV, Mangatoro Survey District, and Sections 4, 3, and 2, Mangatoro Settlement; thence along the eastern boundaries of Puketoi 6B and 6A Blocks to Wahataura Trig. Station; thence westerly along the southern boundaries of Puketoi 6A Block and Section 9, Block XVI, Tahoraite Survey District, amd Section 10, Block XV, Tahoraite Survey District, to the south-western corner of the last-mentioned section; thence northerly along the western boundary of Section 10 aforesaid, across the rabbit-fence reserve, and along the eastern boundary of Section 8 and the eastern and northern boundaries of Section 9, Block XV aforesaid, to Otope Road at the north-western corner of the said Section 9; thence across Otope Road and northerly along its western side to the southern boundary of Section 4, Block XI, Tahoraite Survey District; thence along the southern boundary of Section 4 and the southern and north-western boundaries of Section 5, Block XI aforesaid, to the Otope Stream; thence westerly along the southern boundary of Lot 2 on plan 3777 deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Napier, to the Manawatu River, across that river, and along its right bank to the Oruakeretaki Stream; thence up that stream and the Mangapukakakahau Stream to the northernmost corner of Section 13, Block I, Woodville Survey District; thence across Grainger Road, and along the northern boundaries of Sections 54, 51, and 50, Block I aforesaid, to the Oruakeretaki Stream; thence up the Oruakeretaki Stream and along the northern boundary of a forest reserve to its north-western corner at Trig. Station 85 in the Ruahine Range; thence
northerly along the summit of the Ruahine Range to the point of commencement : and excluding therefrom the Borough of Dannevirk.e.
THIRD SCHEDULE.
DANNEVIRKE RIDING, DANNEVIRKE COUNTY.
ALL that area in the Hawke's Bay Land District bounded by a line commencing at the summit of the Ruahine Range, thence along the boundary-line of the Pipipiri and Umutaoroa Blocks to the Mangatera Stream at the northern corner of Section 31, Block XIII, Norsewood Survey District; thence along the Mangatera Stream to the southern corner of Section 18, Block XIV; thence easterly to the Whakaruatapu Stream at the north-western corner of the Otanga Block; thence southerly along the Whakaruatapu Stream to its junction with the Mangatera Stream; thence southerly along the Mangatera Stream to the south-eastern corner of Section 18, Block III, Tahoraite Survey District, and the Dannevirk.e Borough boundary; thence following the borough boundary westerly and southerly round to the Mangatera Stream; thence along the Mangatera Stream to its junction with the Danne-virke-Weber Road; thence along the Dannevirk.e-Weber Road to the junction of the Kaitoke-Otope Road; thence along the Kaitoke-Otope Road to the Otope Stream; thence southerly along that stream to the county boundary herein-before described; and thence westerly and northerly along the county boundary to the point of commencement; excluding therefrom the Borough of Dannevirk.e.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS a petition, publicly notified, has been presented to me under section one hundred and thirty-four of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, by the Council of the Borough of Waitara, praying me to alter the boundaries of the Borough of Waitara so as to include therein the piece of land described in the Schedule hereto, being land, in respect of which there are no electors, adjacent to the said borough:
Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act, do hereby proclaim and declare that the boundaries of the said borough are hereby altered so as to include within the limits of the said borough the land described in the said Schedule hereto, being land, in respect of which there are no electors, adjacent to the said borough.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Taranaki Land District bounded by a line commencing at the southernmost corner of Section 136, Block I, Paritutu Survey District, on Brown Road; thence north-westerly along the south-western boundary of Section 136 aforesaid to low-water mark of the sea; thence easterly along low-water mark of the sea to the northern end of the training-wall on the western side of the mouth of the Waitara River; thence south-easterly along the western side of the said wall to high-water mark; thence in a westerly direction along high-water mark to its intersection with the boundary of the Borough of Waitara; thence south-westerly along the borough boundary to the southernmost corner of Section 136, Block I, Paritutu Survey District, the place of commencement.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 18th day of January, 1926.
