And whereas the land described in the Schedule hereto
forms part of land held under small grazing-run lease from
His Majesty the King, issued under Part V of the Land Act,
1892, dated the twenty-eighth day of February, one thousand
nine hundred and three:
And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, the
land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is required for a
public purpose--that is to say, for a resting-place for travelling
stock:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers
and authorities conferred upon me by section one hundred
and thirty-five of the Land Act, 1924, and of all other powers
and authorities in anyway enabling me in this behalf, I,
General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare
that I hereby resume possession of the land mentioned in the
Schedule hereto for the public purpose hereinbefore mentioned, the same being part of the land held under small
grazing-run lease as aforesaid.

Marlborough Land District.
Section 4, Block XVI, Patriarch Survey District: Area,
5 acres.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 4th day of June,
1926.

District.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 7th day of
June, 1926.

His Excellency The Governor-General in Council.
In pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in him
by section one hundred and thirty-one of the Municipal
Corporations Act, 1920 (hereinafter referred to as the "said
Act"), and of every other power and authority enabling him
in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doth hereby direct that the Hikurangi Town Board shall
defray all the costs of the Commission appointed under the
said Act by His Excellency the Governor-General on the
thirty-first day of October, one thousand nine hundred and
twenty-five, in connection with the proposal to constitute
the Borough of Hikurangi; and with the like advice and
consent doth hereby also direct that the said Hikurangi
Town Board shall defray all the costs of the poll taken under
the said Act on the eighth day of April, one thousand nine
hundred and twenty-six, in connection with the said proposal.

Amending Regulations for Trout and Perch Fishing in the
Taranaki Acclimatization District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 7th day of
June, 1926.

His Excellency The Governor-General in Council.
WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the eighth day of
December, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-
four, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 81, of the
eleventh day of the same month, regulations were made for
trout and perch fishing in the Taranaki Acclimatization District
and waters thereof ;
And whereas it is desirable to amend such regulations in
the manner hereinafter described:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of
the power and authority conferred upon him by section
eighty-three of the Fisheries Act, 1908, and of all other
powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, and
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke clause
five of the hereinbefore-recited regulations, and doth hereby
make and substitute the following regulation.
REGULATION.
5. Trout and perch shall not be fished for, taken, or killed
otherwise than with one rod and line, but a landing-net or
gaff may be used to secure any trout or perch caught with
such rod and line. No lures or baits other than natural or
artificial fly or minnow, or any small indigenous fish or insect
shall be used with such rod and line, nor shall any of the said
lures or baits be used except upon a running line attached to
a rod and reel; nor shall any set rod or line be used for taking
trout or perch in any of the said waters: provided that all
fishing with houhou-grub or worms is absolutely prohibited.

other powers in anyway enabling him in this behalf, His
Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent
to the Hokianga County Council stopping the road described
in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
Approximate area of the piece of road permitted to be
stopped: 21 acres 3 roods 18 perches.
Adjoining or passing through Mangamuka East No. 3B,
Section 2 Block.
Situated in Blocks X and XI, Maungataniwha Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 23291.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 66246,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon
coloured green.

WHEREAS application has been made under section
twenty, subsection one, of the Finance Act, 1919,
for the precedent consent of the Governor-General in Council
to enable the several local authorities mentioned in the
Schedule hereto to borrow the sums set out therein, and it is
expedient that such consent should issue:
