Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, by and
with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the
said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserve
for recreation in the Taranaki Land District described in the
Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under
the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions
of Part II of the said Act; and such reserve shall hereafter
be known as the Kaupokonui Beach Domain, and be managed,
administered, and dealt with as a public domain.

SCHEDULE.

TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT.

SECTION 81, Block VI, Waimate Survey District: Area,
2 acres 3 roods.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 28th day of

Present:
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council,
WHEREAS by section four of the Fire Brigades Act,
1909 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is provided that the Governor-General may by Order in Council,
on the application of any Road Board, declare the district
within the jurisdiction of such Road Board to be a fire district under the said Act:
And whereas an application has been made by the Mount
Roskill Road Board in accordance with the provisions of the
said Act, and it appears expedient to grant the said application:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of
the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the said
Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby declare
the road district of Mount Roskill to be a fire district under
the said Act.

Prescribing the Term for which the Bay of Islands Harbour
Board may borrow the Sum of £6,000 authorized to be raised
for the Construction of a Wharf at Russell, and also the Rate
of Interest payable thereon.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 28th day of
May, 1926.

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.
WHEREAS by section eleven of the Finance Act, 1921,
and its amendments, it is provided that, notwithstanding anything to the contrary in any Act or in any rule
of law, where a local authority or public body has been authorized before the passing of the said Act, or is thereafter authorized, to borrow money, whether pursuant to a poll of ratepayers or otherwise howsoever, whether the rate of interest
or the term of years of the loan was or was not specified or
determined, and such money or any part thereof has not
been borrowed, the local authority may, with the precedent
consent of the Minister of Finance, borrow such money, or
such amount thereof as has not been borrowed, at such rate
of interest, or for such term, as may be prescribed by the
Governor-General by Order in Council:
And whereas the Bay of Islands Harbour Board has been
authorized to borrow the sum of six thousand pounds for the
construction of a wharf at Russell:
And whereas the Minister of Finance has given his precedent consent as required by the above-recited section eleven,
and it is desired that the term for which the money may be
borrowed be thirty-six and a half years, and the rate of interest
payable thereon be not exceeding six per centum per annum:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of
the power and authority vested in him as aforesaid, and acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said Dominion, doth hereby prescribe that the term for
which the Bay of Islands Harbour Board may borrow the said
six thousand pounds shall be thirty-six and a half years, and
the rate of interest that may be paid thereon shall be a rate
not exceeding six per centum per annum, and the said Bay
of Islands Harbour Board is hereby authorized to borrow thy
said sum of six thousand pounds accordingly.

Prescribing the Rate of Interest that may be paid by the Inglewood
County Council in respect of a Loan of £2,480 authorized to
be raised for the Purpose of completing the Main Road Improvements.

of completing the undertaking.
And whereas the Minister of Finance has given his precedent consent as required by the above-recited section
eleven, and it is desired that the rate of interest at which the
money may be borrowed be not exceeding six per centum per
annum:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of
the power and authority vested in him as aforesaid, and acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said Dominion, doth hereby prescribe that the
rate of interest that may be paid by the Inglewood County
Council in respect of the said loan of two thousand four hundred
and eighty pounds shall be a rate not exceeding six per centum
per annum, and the said Inglewood County Council is hereby
authorized to borrow the said sum of two thousand four hundred
and eighty pounds accordingly.
