That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Hutt County Special-rating District Loan of £1,200, 1926, authorized to be raised by the Hutt County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of erecting a public hall and conveniences upon the land in the certificate of title, Volume 312, folio 17, Wellington Register, given by Mr. Hugh Akers, the said Hutt County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of seventeen-hundredths (17/100ths) of a penny in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the No. 22 Special-rating District, being described as follows :—
Commencing at a point on the sea-coast at the northern boundary of Section 80, Block 8, Paekakariki Survey District, thence easterly and northerly along the said boundary to its junction with the western boundary of Section 82, Block 8, Paekakariki Survey District ; thence along the said boundary to its northernmost point ; thence by a line across Taupo Block Number 1, having a bearing of 317° 30′ to its intersection with the Pukerua Track ; thence following this track north-easterly to its intersection with Lot 9, D.P. 3811 ; thence generally following the outer boundaries of D.P’s. 3811, 2242, 5117, 5600, 6067, 5117, 5248, 4531, to the sea-coast ; thence generally south-easterly along the sea-coast to the point of commencement ;
and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six (36) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between GEORGE DESLANDES, FRANK LEWIS, and THOMAS STANSLAWS PATTERSON, carrying on business as Printers at Dixon Street, Wellington, under the style or firm of “Deslandes, Lewis, and Patterson,” has been dissolved as from the 31st day of March, 1926, so far as concerns the said THOMAS STANSLAWS PATTERSON, who retires from the said firm. All debts due to and owing by the said late firm will be received and paid respectively by GEORGE DESLANDES and FRANK LEWIS, who will continue to carry on the said business in partnership under the style or firm of “DES LANDES AND LEWIS.”
