THE CITY MOTOR-WORKS (LIMITED), IN LIQUIDATION.

NOTICE is hereby given that a general meeting of shareholders of the WELLINGTON MOTORS (LIMITED), in liquidation, and the CITY MOTOR-WORKS (LIMITED), in liquidation, will be held at the office of the Liquidators, Huddart Parker Building, Wellington, on Friday the 11th day of June, 1926, at 12 noon, for the purpose of laying before such meeting the Liquidators’ accounts showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the assets of the companies disposed of, and to offer any explanation the Liquidators may wish to give and for the purpose of passing an extraordinary resolution as to the disposal of the books, accounts, and documents of the companies, as required by the Companies Act, 1908.

TAURANGA COUNTY COUNCIL.

SPECIAL ORDER.

THAT the Tauranga County Council, by way of special order, authorizes the sale and agrees to sell to the Paengaroa Dipping Association for the price or sum of £2 per acre all that piece of land containing 2 acres 0 roods 27 perches, more or less, being part of the block of land situate in the Maketu Survey District called Paengaroa North A No. 3 Section 2, the same having been purchased by the Council as a pumice reserve, and being no longer required for the purposes of the county.”

The above special order was passed at a special meeting of the Tauranga County Council on the 6th day of November, and confirmed on the 11th day of December, 1925.

HELENSVILLE TOWN BOARD.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Helensville Town Board hereby resolves as follows:—

That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Helensville Town Board Water-system Extension Loan of £2,500, 1926, authorized to be raised by the Helensville Town Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of—

(1.) Completion of water-storage reservoir for the Helensville Town District, and

(2.) Extension of water-main to such reservoir and renewal of sundry water-pipes which form part of the water-main of the said town district,—

the said Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of one farthing (¼d.) in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the whole of the Helensville Town District; and that such special rate shall be an annually-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the fifteenth day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half (36½) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
